I try to follow the Way every day. Well, more like trying to keep my balance on the tight rope of a path that my Sovereign Savior paved for me/us. Crazy, Hes also the Net to catch us when we have a misstep on His narrow and perfect path. Music was one of the strongest, if not, the strongest worldly influence to make sure my equilibrium went unchecked. Taunting, tricking, and enticing my attention downward. Sometimes just outright screaming, "DON'T LOOK DOWN!" Yup, definitly one of my major poisons/prisons. I still have a combative, cumulative, yet, dreaded affinity and consistent lingering, but unwanted kinship with and for it. I never liked Christian music, no matter the genre. Even after being saved. Maybe even more so then. No, definitely more so then. Some songs may have had an honest and true message. And before i say more, lol. To each their own. There may be some out there that love every Christian song written and composed. Doubtful, but now that angle's covered with a block that's checked. So no biting my head off, pleeeezzz, k y'all. Early on, "for me," C-music just seemed corny, painfully cliche, even a lil cumbersome when sang through my conspiring, reluctant, pair of lips. After that sound escape, (yes pun intended,) the song would have to stealthily, low- crawl, frequency hop, do something, to be able infiltrate mine, equally conspiring pair of, perverse ears. Crazy how i could be so dense, yet so shallow, huh? Anyway, after being saved, the C-music still seemed watered down or diluted. I thought it came straight out of the faucet and it was luke warm to me at best. If it was a urinalysis it would have failed because of the dilute, and because of the low temp. I mean, lyrics may have had some good messages but the instrumentals were usually, mediocre. WAIT! I get it. Once again, for some people that fine, peachy, they love it, and thats cooo. OK.........but now. It seems that the C-music, especially the EDM genre. OMGoodness The Most High slapped me right in the face with what i had been praying for. Some very talented musical artists and bold lyrics. About6 monthes ago, i was like, "Most High, why doesnt any of ur music have talented artists that are above mainstream artists talent level." "I don't really wana worship to any C- music ive ever heard. None at all." "And i cant listen to any worldly inspired music anymore, nor do i want to Most High." " Because i hear entire(not good,) messages in it all." "Father, ive had all the things the world could offer, but its all lost its luster and it could only mask the void for a short season." "Most High i unregretably, gladly, and thankfully gave up 85 % technology and other wordly things, and ur showing me the blessings, power, truth and reasons for it all and i dont NEED NEED anything but U, Father." "I dont normally pray and ask for this self, Father." " But it would be nice to hear music representing U, that i dare even say is worthy of ur attention, even if it was the best talet on earth." "But Most High, I think that U deserve nothing but the best representing U."" As long as their pride was kept in check and U kept them humble, that would be awesome." Then came, in Jesus name i pray, Amen". 2 weeks later i ran into DJ's Disciple 2018 mix. I like all genre, but this C- EDM is the best worship music, that Ive heard. Matter of fact the C-EDM dj's are as good, i dare say better than these mainstream DJs. And the C-Edm lyrics are bold. Thats my GOD right there and thats the music He deserves representing Him. Im 43 and i can finally say and truely feel this way about some C- music... The 2018 mix, Gordy's work and the Marshall Marshall mix had me in tears for hours and they still get me. POWERFUL BOLD LYRICS that are supposed to represent our Father, The Most High, and the only God there is. Thank U again Father in heaven....Gordy, now thats a christian song, i love them all, just saying, lol. I really like all the Dj's. And the song by Marshall M, when she says , " coz ur God and Im not. Powerful as heck, especially in a world where most think they are God and Jesus was some ascended master. That verse gives me/us clarity about exactly Who shes singing about. K sry yall, i rarely do this, ive had a long journey. nut shell, blown up in war after 11 year military career an a hard life of drugs...no pity i thank The Most High that i was blown up. Everything happens for a reason. I wouldnt see things the way i do now. Its all the journey, all His plan. And this music He smacked me right upside the head with and said now doubt I can have best play for and about Me, with extreme passion and boldness. I love when the Almighty hits me with reality, self reflection, and a Big ol Truth bomb from time to time. Lol, they dont sting anymore theres power in it all..Father just keep us humble and dont let us get vain in a pwerful thing such as humbleness either. That one can be easy to forget.. in Jesus name ty and Amen. Sry all, love u all truely i do and sry things prolly got sloppier bout half waythrough this, lol.
