The ending is Ronnie realizing he could have passed the addiction gene on to his daughter. Both his parents were addicts. His mom took off, his father got clean and raised his brother and him.

Wait til these dudes discover that Ronnie and Escape the Fate basically fathered the whole emo scene and sense of style, including the hair cuts and fashion. BEFORE he went to prison .. came back and started Falling in Reverse .. took the scene back and then imploded it by constantly changing his style up and started rapping, and full on metal .. then came the singing much later and flexing his real rap skills.
This dude is talented in ways most people can't even imagine.

I think you're confused. Emo started in the 80's.

    • @ChristopherJames1993

@@jenniferblake3296ok pal nobody cares. The version EVERYONE knows started with ETF and Avenged Sevenfold taking a lot of influence from sleazy 80s metal in how they looked. Nobody cares about real emo, the only version that matters is the version that people know which is the 2000s version. And actually it was more the 90s as an offshoot of hardcore. Hence why it’s also known as post-hardcore, and Ronnie definitely kicked off that look and sound in 2005.

Ronnie's Mom really did abandon him as a young boy so he was raised by a pretty wild Dad. He has had a hard life, but will admit that going to prison saved his life as he was on the road to self destruction. And out of all of that came this amazing musician with tons of talent. Crazy.

Yeah, and in some of older song there are lines...
"I was born one morning in December on the coldest day
Abandoned by my mother, whom my father I was raised
My father raised my brother and I with a stubborn heart
My mother left me her good looks and confident charm
Well, I spent most of my teenage years searching for her love
I could not find it anywhere, so I turned to drugs
And after all the smoked had cleared, and it was said and done
I found myself addicted by the age of 21, I tell the truth"

From the man Ronnie Radke himself in a live stream about the meaning of this song.
"Ronnie: Drugs does not just mean drugs, it means TV, it means Food, it means Sex, it means Porn, it means America, it means trying to be famous, it means needing more Likes, needing more Followers, needing more Views, needing more Subscribers, needing more This, needing more That, it's the Addiction, it's the "American Dream" and it's a "Killing Machine" and that's the reason why I wrote this song. It's not just about drugs, its about everything becoming a drug nowadays and the obsession on being famous, the obsession on everything and self indulgence."

    • @TheSirTomo
      @TheSirTomo ปีที่แล้ว +6

He proceeds to explain that he didn't cut his mum out of his life and rather that she was just never there since he was a baby. In the end where Willow says "you've been a sleep for a very long time" to which Ronnie replies "You've got to be fucking kidding me" that was purely put in there to be funny and has no specific meaning (Once again as explained from the man himself)

As someone with ADHD, yes - our medication is quite similar to Methamphetamine. The reason it works though is because we have a chemical disorder within our brain, so Meth actually has the opposite effect on someone with ADHD than it does to someone without. It picks you up and makes you move and think faster - it slows us down and allows our perception of the world to catch up.
Also, when Ronnie says drugs - he means anything that you're addicted to. Food, exercise, Yoga, video games, actual drugs, sex, social media, work. Someone with an addictive personality will get addicted to anything, even things that don't come with a chemical dependency. I think Ronnie is pointing out that as a whole, humanity is addicted to its destruction.

His mom was addicted to drugs and left him when he was a baby.
And since he also has been addicted he was afraid that his daughter should end up like that. He wanted to break the cycle.

Actually you both are correct. In the first one with the black goo he says let's break the cycle. He does feel like it's a cycle and he fears his daughter will become addicted. His mother was a drug addict and wasn't there, he comes to terms with it by saying everything that has happened to him is the reason he's where he's at. Alone and Gangsters Paradise are really good.

His father got clean remarried and became a born again Christian so Ronnie knows the good in what god can provide in ones life. He doesnt knock it ever! He respects people with religious beliefs as well! Even in Watch the World Burn he set the priest on fire who wanted to persecute him as an evil person but if you notice the second scene the wide angle view of the Priest burning he dropped the bible he was holding and it escaped from burning it was on the floor not on fire! So to me he was burning the human not the Priest in that scene maybe thats just how i justify it to myself so i can like the song lol But ive heard Ronnie in his live streams on Twitch talk about this stuff so I know he respects Religion he just doesnt choose to follow that path himself. I sure hope he has a change in heart about god one day for his salvation! I hope his Mom gets sober and takes accountability for her life and wrong doings, so Ronnie may have peace there as well! And Im thankful his father stepped up and became a Man and raised Ronnie!

the funny thing with this video is that Ronnie using the chainsaw on himself wasnt actually killing his inner demons, it was Ronnie killing the new and improved version of himself and accepting his past and the issues that he faced! hence the "new" blonde Ronnie burying the old black haired Ronnie in the last video and then the old Ronnie bursting out of the ground and coming back stronger

That the whole God thing you mentioned resonated with me For me, I don't believe but if you want to you do you ill never have a problem with that. But what you mentioned about the whole good and evil thing, I guess as many people have heard there are good people who commit evil acts (a lot understandable) and evil people can commit good acts. I can relate to that atleast. I had someone very close close to me, someone i trusted with my life do something unspeakable to someone i loved but i have also had someone that although we hate each other and although they have done things some people would consider evil they were an anchor and i guess an advisor of keeping my humanity through that ordeal.

The protection of the poppy fields at Mazar-i-Sharīf in Afghanistan was a deal made between the “cartel” and the US military for safety. We protected/let them conduct business in the fields and they kept Al Qaeda from attacking the base, in any fashion. @BLACKPEGASUS You even missed Ronnie POINT BLANK showing the wound at the soul level that his mother caused him and what the root cause of his self medicating drug use was all about. Neglecting children to the point of rejection causes most often terminal spiritual wounds that only God can show and individual and lead them toward healing. Fortunately for Ronnie God is leading him down than path to his healing and a full life in finding his own real self and I am here for it. Stop censoring your co host and worrying about getting dinged by the youtube hall monitors. Ronnie could not have showed you his pain in more graphic detail and ya missed it.

But we actually ARE free (NO CAP, lol). That’s why trying to get free or be blessed with freedom seems so difficult, because it is. It’s actually impossible for us. God can’t give you something that you already have, already ARE.
You can attain money, a wonderful career, a fly house, a beautiful spouse, a child, amazing friends, a dream come true music career, etc. just keep adding to the list. Anything that you didn’t possess at one point in time, with the right efforts and skills, you can get somehow through action. But how can God give you another head on your shoulders? He can’t. You already have that. The same is true about freedom.
There was never a time that we were without freedom, so God can’t give that to us. The freedom that we so hope God will bless us with will never be gifted because freedom is not like all those other possessions we have. Possessions were not at one point but through time they “show up” in our life and one day they will not be there.
Also, if freedom were to be attained how long would that kind of freedom last? It’s often too brief. It’s time bound and perishable and any God to give us those things would as well be subject to time and decay just like those things. Certainly that’s not worth our efforts.
From another POV, I see God present in all experiences, illumining every moment and experience of our life, yet untouched by any of them, including time , change and decay. That which does fluctuate never diminishes what’s ever present. Conscious existence experiences no “hangover.” What observes observes and never gets “pulled into” changes or delays
When Jesus supposedly said “living in the world but not of it,” or “wear the world like a lose garment,” he meant by my mere presence I exist in each and every moment of time yet remain unchanged by anything, like space which is in and through all objects (including the world) but untouchable by those very experiences.
This is not a story from the Bible about “him” or “them” or “then.” It’s everyone’s nature, timeless, and ever-present, and free of anything. It’s only the NOTION that “I I am only free and happy when I experience bliss and life is certain but I am not free and ok when life is less than certain and feels pissy…” If that were to no longer disturb my mind by my taking it to be factual then bondage would be as real as the conditioning my mind has invested in as absolutely true
The idea that God withholds freedom from us would be comedic if it didn’t disturb most of the globe so powerfully . It’s not comedic to us now because even though it’s a notional, hard wired belief, it certainly doesn’t feel so.

Here's my assessment on Ronnie's "I don't believe in God" attitude. He used to praise God, thank God and believe in God, back in the day. Not to mention.. His dad's a preacher I believe. But after his brother died, Ronnie started denying God. He's never said this but I think he's mad at God. Probably for several different things but mainly bc of his brother's passing. I've just noticed Ronnie's timeline on this particular subject and truly believe that he's more angry than a non believer 💔

heaven forbid people just " eat healthy and exercise " 💀 heaven forbid people just mind their business. Simply dieting doesn't work for everyone and the medicine that keeps me alive keeps my weight up regardless of how much i diet and exercise. This is why youtube doesn't want uneducated people speaking on things they don't understand and giving people bad medical advice. you can say " this is not advice " all you want that doesn't change the fact that unless you are a doctor with a medical degree you really shouldn't talk about medications and what is " good or bad " because without a degree and someone's medical history you really have zero idea what you're talking about. These uneducated opinions about medications are what got a million people killed during covid. Spreading misinformation about medications you don't take or see a doctor for because you heard some person somewhere say this thing without a valid source to back it. Misinformed medical opinions got someone i hold very dear killed because they were immunocompromised and someone with covid decided they didnt need to quarantine or wear a mask and my person got sick despite doing everything she should. Regardless whether your bad opinions are a first amendment right or not doesn't mean shit when it kills people.

So glad you finally finished the trilogy. His Mom was an addict and then he is an addict (like me) then ending is him watching his daughter potentially becoming an addict too 🖤

The year 2033 was when he should have been released from jail but was able to reduce his sentence and got out earlier. So when he wakes up with his older daughter that was the age she would have been when he got out. And in this one he kills his old drug addict self and starts living clean. And he reflects back on his mother who was also a drug addict and left him and his brother at a young age

    • @shellbell40

That is actually a myth... The 2033 is the year that Ronnie dreamt that he would die. He talked about it on Twitch. He didn't get 25 years for a probation violation.
