Food Automation presents MultiWeigh Radial head for onions. This very delicate way of weighing fresh, peeled or processed onions gives a lot of benefits for the user. Due to the fact that there is no positive motion and only the use of gravity, there is much less impact on the product opposite the conventional lineair weighers that work with high speed cross conveyors to create higher capacity. Also there is almost no maintenance because there are no belts with bearings, turnover flaps or product catchers with pneumatics. This machine only has stepper motors that are directly driving the buckets to open and close them. The MultiWeigh is also standard IP67 protection factor so Dust, water is not a problem of this weigher. All parts can easily be removed without using tools for easy cleaning purposes.
