If you cannot get a hold of an artist personally, DO NOT buy or put out anything featuring them... This has been a nightmare and my album has been denied and taken down off platforms multiple times. Don't mess with Anno unless you're ONLY using the beats, the beats are fire, these "opportunities" are nothing but bullshit.

I've known Anno since 2005! He produced the beat I used for my first big collaboration on a track called "True 2 Tha Game" featuring DJ King Assassin (of Tupac's THUG LIFE family) & my homie Anuubis, and I've been rapping on Anno Domini Beats ever since! My favorite producer in the game by far!
Regarding paid features, I was told it would not be a primary feature. That’s precisely what doesn’t make sense to me. Why would I pay thousands for a collab w/ a better known artist (+ hundreds more to finalize the track) if the release will be completely invisible on their Spotify portal? It would not even show up in the “Appears On” section unless it has tons of plays. The release would remain unseen unless I already have a sizeable following. Sure, it could show up in searches or playlists (incl. editorial and official ones), but it’s mostly going to remain unseen and unplayed. I’m sorry, but no, I would never agree to such a deal, esp. if the collaborating artist had a strong presence on the track. There are plenty of examples of featured artists that are *also* listed as primary artists. For instance, ‘Satellite’ by Bebe Rexha and Snoop Dogg, ‘High Life’ by Buju Banton and Snoop Dogg, ‘To Begin Again’ by Ingrid Michaelson and ZAYN, ‘Edge of Midnight (Midnight Sky Remix)’ by Miley Cyrus feat. Stevie Nicks, ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ by Mark Ronson feat. Miley Cyrus, and so forth. No problem there. But when one of my pals had his Snoop Dogg feature (entitled 'No!'), Snoop Dogg was removed as co-primary artist after a few days (and hundreds of thousands of streams) even though the track is of high quality. Why is that? Why the double standard? I don’t understand! If anything, new indie artists NEED such exposure more than anything, even more than the famous artists. If the song is well produced, nicely engineered and sounds great, then what’s the real problem? No to such contracts. If it's just beats, then that's different.
It would just flood that artist’s Spotify page? The crediting is cross promo at that point, and that’s not the product if that’s being sold. You get a verse, nothing more it seems like, would cost a lot more otherwise

If that verse is the best he has ever done, it would garner attention from people around the world and gives the spotlight to the original artist too, as a side effect. I've purchased numerous features from Anno Domini, then bought the add-on stuff like rights to use the feature on my own beat, etc., ended up paying around $750 per feature after all the additional add-ons, then after all the studio costs to make the song I uploaded the song to distribution and distribution REJECTED the song stating: "We do not accept the paid guest verses from platforms like Anno Domini Beats, etc. as music platforms would block this content automatically for unauthorized crediting and potential copyright infringement." This means NONE of the songs we made with these high profile features can ever be heard through digital music providers besides TH-cam, meaning thousands of dollars wasted for nothing. BUYER BEWARE!!! It's much easier to earn the respect of industry artists and get your feature from that artist directly.

As it turns out, the only pack that I had issues sending to distribution was the first pack that had an exclusive release through Revel Distro. I should’ve read the contract. That’s my mistake. We haven’t had any issues releasing any of the other features though.
