this was very much needed. Besides tube tyres, i guess other major concern for every Interceptor owner is the seat comfort. Not even the touring seat offered by RE is comfortable for long rides. I always felt numbness in the groin after riding the bike for around 70 kms, and had to stop after maximum 100 kms. The Sahara seat is designed in such a way that your groin will not be in direct contact with the tank hence reduce the chances of numbing it out. This was really valuable, thank you so much

Hi I was facing the problem while installing the seat. It comes out easily, don't use force it actually might break something see if anything's stuck to it if you are not able to go it by yourself go to the service center they'll help. I got mine installed at the service center.
Hi it's from Carbon Racing costs around 2200 with Shipping they have different colors available and also this is the old variant they have updated it. Works well it's sturdy you won't feel wind blast on chest at all but on your head straight so do wear the helmet with this one.
Can I ask you a question?? The pillion seat it kind of slopping backwards which makes the ride uncomfortable for the pillion. Even with the backrest on pillion tends to get backwards with the slightest of acceleration. Do you ever faced this kind of situation?
To be honest it heats up in summer and is quite heavy and not to forget the tyres are tubed so if you are not concerned about this issues you can definitely go for it.
Hi thank you for the feedback. The handlebar is from art of motorcycle Bangalore and I have used it with and without carbon racing angled risers and its comfortable with the risers.

@@sachpunjabi yes it's possible just use it with risers but as you know the tank is quite long as compared to classic so there will aome difference but it will be far far better then the stock handlebar.
@@anuraagarora I just took the delivery of interceptor 650 3 days ago and I noticed that the fog forms at the bottom end of speedometer and it goes away once you're done with riding and bike is parked. However when I reached out to Royal Enfield showroom and service center they said this is normal . Hence I wanted to know if it happens with all the interceptors??

I mean I am in group of 650 twins of around 300 riders no one is using it and it's actually costly so there's no point of hit and try.
This is what the company says- A plastic layer is added between the seat cover and the main cushion..but a small layer of foam is added to the seat cover to get the popup on the diamond and Stripes design..that foam might hold the water for a while but not in quantity. Personally I haven't used it in the rains so I can't share my opinion about it.
Good information brother. The design pattern seems to be little different compared to that one which is shown in sahara seat website. The diamond cut design is not there for pillion rider on your bike seat which looks good. Was the design customised?

I am 6' tall people who are 5'-5" tall. I think should avoid it, most probably it will create problem. Ask the company itself what solution can they provide according to your height can they customize it. Better than spending your money and regretting it.
Tried this seat on Continental Gt 650. This seat is very good. But for pillion if you're wearing nylon or loose trousers you'll be constantly slipping forward and backward. It's good for long rides with pillion but make sure you wear jeans.

Yes this problem do exist but with the backrest I am using the pillion is comfortable. Without the backrest it's not safe or comfortable.

After market seats are better..I use the RE touring seat, even that is a horrible seat after 50kms of ride, everything starts paining.
I agree Sahara seat is way better then the re touring seat.

Yes recently I am facing the issue, couldn't get it checked but yes the issue is there.

Yes the foam is better it's broader and gives support to your tail bone.
