Hermès Terre d'Hermès Eau Tres Fraiche vs. Terre d'Hermès Eau Givree | Is Eau Givree Any Good?

- Hello everyone!
In this video I'm comparing two fragrances from the same brand and from the same line: Terre d'Hermès Eau Tres Fraiche and Terre d'Hermès Eau Givree.
The Eau Tres Fraiche version is discontinued, because of the ban of lilial, which is a chemical compound, and, as such, Hermès released this year it's substitute, the Eau Givree, created by Christine Nagel.
Is is this new fresh version of Terre d'Hermès any good? Is it better than the Eau Tres Fraiche? Let's find out!

The Eau très fraîche is the best or one of the best citrus/orange combo ever it might last 5 hrs the most but it's too elegant and guest what it will be my SOTD, the Eau givrée I've sample it a couple of times not bad at all but the Eau très fraîche beats it for me.
The pronunciation is “eau givrée” comme « privé »😉☺️

I tend to disagree with lots of things you said here. It's definitly citron (white of the lemon with the juice). Not grapefruit (like realisticaly portrayed in d&g forever). Also I don't get any h24 in there. And I don't think the original is salty. It is watery though.

I blind bought Eau Givree and I immediately regretted it. The longevity is absolute garbage for me. 40 minutes and it's gone. It's so bad it gets overpowered by any deodorant and pomade I use for the day. The scent itself is quite good though.
Almost blind bought this. Had it in my cart and everything. Could never pull the trigger for some reason
That's what I experienced also it is very disappointing,disappears fast,another friend of mine within three hours of having oversprayed it on my body when I met him he said "today how come u don't smell perfume"when I remember I oversprayed it before going to him,I was terribly disappointed and got confirmation that I bought nonsons
@@aupamosia1506 It does seem to have improved a bit with some air in the bottle. It will be interesting to try it next summer now that it had time to macerate for a couple months in the bottle.

While I like the Eau Givree fragrance, Jean Claude Ellena can't be improved on. Fortunately, I have quite a bit of his masterpiece.

I have the TDH edt / original and wanna explore the flankers but still have no firm choice which one
Originally liked the opening on paper...but then I tried it on skin today and it doesn't work on me. 😔 Crap. Definitely has that flintiness of the original, but the vetiver is incredibly subdued and the drydown smells straight up like sour, unsweetened tangerine juice that I spilled on my arm and then left to dry in the sun. Photo-realistic actually. Not mandarin, but tangerine juice. I hate to say it....but I actually prefer D&G's Light Blue Forever. At least you can tell they were going for grapefruit in that one. And what about that cheap cap?? It looked heavier in the pics. So yeah, Eau Tres Fraiche is still better than both for me.
Unfortunately this is no where near an improvement of Tries Fraiche IMHO. I like the opening, but I'm struggling with the burnt plastic drydown. The Perfumer should've stayed with the original drydown then this would've been a worthy replacement. Do not blind buy.
