I honestly feel you don’t give Dark Demon enough credit. He’s genuinely a great unit that many people fear and there’s many ways you could utilize him. Not getting an instant turn is pretty bad but most of the time his bar fills up enough for him to take a turn. Also using his 2nd skill in the right time takes mastery and could turn games around.
The issue is not the ocasional enemy at +100% atk bar, it's that any unit moving that instantly Vio proc just counter the whole gimmick of the monster since Demon pasive it's not an instant turn disrupter like Triana or Antares.

I have the dark demon, seii is definitely not wrong XD, the problem is that not only do spd counter him, but also violent procs, anti revive, increase cooltime, targeting him last and you also lose a unit no matter what, because after he gets a kill, he most definitely dies instantly, so you kill him again and forget about him, so as long as you have good 3v3 comps, you are set. He is most of a ban pick than a real pick because it definitely gets banned a ton
i honestly like the shadow casters but I feel like they need guaranteed lands of the ties, but then again that might be a little insane so not sure, but I would've chosen demon in my opinion, he's very fun if put in the right teams idk maybe I like the big damage numbers
