I'm glad Arizona is in the Big12 now but this is going to be a long season for Arizona and their fans, reality is coming in Jan! Y'all playing in a real conf now and not that easy 1 team Pac12 conf. Welcome to the every game is a war Big12 conf where every team can beat every team!
Love is the weak link. He has proved it over and over again. He desapears against tough opponents. Give the high ranked freshman a chance. They may surprise.
@bridgetekcommunications332 That is what Caleb is supposed to bring into the rotation. He does it with inferior teams but is a no-show against good teams.
Calib just seems to be burned out on basketball. Sometimes, it just happens. I hope he just realizes how much he has given and will always cherish it. Go strong Cats.
Arizona is going to struggle all season. I predicted 10-12 losses for the season and I stand by it. The issue is there are no shooters or natural scorers on this team. And defensively I see no improvement of any kind from last season with respect to proper rotations and hedging to stop 3 point shooters or guys penetrating. At this stage I think it’s a scheme issue with Lloyd on the defensive side of the ball. Shy of maybe Bradley, there are no NBA players on this Arizona team. The bigs all have significant issues with them. Krivas - hands of stone and only one move (jump hook going right) Veesar - my opinion the best of the bigs but weak physically and not a good rebounder Awaka - great rebounder and nothing else (no offense) Townsend - undersized big who lacks the athleticism or outside shooting to make any type of impact all season Lewis - poor 3 point shooter. Poor at catch and shoot, poor at shooting off the dribble. Great at getting to the basket and drawing contact. Great defender when not fouling Bradly - Arizona’s best player , weakness is 3 point shooting and free throw concentration Love - volatile player (either on fire or frozen) poor shot selections, highly inconsistent. Bryant - high upside should play 25-30 mins a game Del Orso - Unplayable against high level competition Martinez - unplayable against high level competition. There you have it. An honest assessment of this team. It’s not a well constructed team. If I’m coaching this team my starting 5 are the following: 1.) Bradley 2.) Lewis 3.) Bryant 4.) Awaka 5.) Veesar I would showcase and build offense around Bryant & Bradley as with vessar as a pick and pop threat. Off the bench I would I bring in: 1.) Love 2.) Townsend 3.) Krivas 8 man rotation as the rest are unplayable.
fairly accurate but bryant will be an nba player, kj also has a shot. whether tommy can figure out how to use the talents of the various players more effectively, well, we will know more by week's end.
Arizona basketball and football is going to live the hurt until they stop hiring stupid Ad’s and coaches. Sports in general is in great flux and Arizona is failing in realizing this. We screwed bad bad! Our bball program is going to fail alongside our football program and our ad will only lead us into the pit of despair’s. The worst hire ever in program history!
I believe in you Love!!

That reporter from Indianapolis showed how ignorant, clueless and dense he is.
Tommy not taking that BS from bozo Indy reporter was classic!

Yep. Our AD will lead us into irrelevance
Caleb seems grumpy. Focus?

No it’s not Love. The weakness is no shooters or natural scorers outside Bradley

@@bridgetekcommunications332 100% agree 👍

Arizona is a dead man walking. I have hope for baseball and softball. They are so stuck!
Tommy destroy team
