So, just to mak sure im understanding this correctly... you use the lithium rechargeable pack, along with the solar panel, and the panel recharges your pack for you? How long will this setup last, as far as battery life?

That particular trail camera stake is sold by Cabelas and BPS. It’s a little pricey but it’s rock solid and my favorite trail cam stake design.

I’m returning my SpyPoint and getting the Edge Pros.
I have 4 Edge cameras and one Pro. The pro stopped working in a month and I’m down to 3 edge cameras. To me they are not reliable, and miss a lot of pictures. I drove my truck in front of one mounted on my blind and never got a picture. I’m looking to switch to something more reliable. Any suggestions
I’ve not experienced that issue and I have 10 pros out now. Contact Moultrie’s customer service and they’ll make it right. Good luck.
Can the battery pack and solar panel be used simultaneously?
Yes, I have since bought several more battery packs. I’m getting several months per camera and I’m saving a lot of money not having to buy LITHIUM batteries now. Eventually all my cams will be using these packs.
Can't think of a singular reason to pick this over the superior tactacam that works WITHOUT plans. The edges are ruined by the fact theres no usb port to copy photos from the built in memory.
If you want to use your Tactacam Reveal as a cellular trail cam you have to buy a plan, just like Moultrie’s Edge cell cams. If you don’t want to use the cellular feature, it doesn’t make a lot of sense to buy an expensive cell cam. But that’s certainly your choice.

Is T-Mobile an acceptable plan?
I bought 5 cameras and 2 of the 5 ate up the lithium batteries in two weeks. They sent me 2 new ones under warranty replacement and both of those cameras killed the lithium batteries in 3 days. They replaced those under warranty and just put those out this past weekend and one of the two killed the lithium batteries in two days. I'm done with them . Called them to request my money back and now they are telling me they won't do a return because it's beyond their 30 day return policy. They strung me along on purpose to get me beyond the 30 days. These Cameras are pure junk! Stay away from them and save your money.
You said chose your plan? So you pay a monthly service?
Yes, they have several plans to choose from. They can be disabled when the season is over.
When a plan is selected, does it charge the amount to your cell phone bill? Or do you pay for it separately through the app?
