I don’t care if it’s scripted or not Nev always goes to bat for the person being catfished. I think because of his past catfish experience he takes some of these situations seriously and he really looks out for the person, I love that. He and Max are just such good support systems.
I would have stayed to take some of them seriously obviously his past experience is what triggered him to do this. He learned so much from his experience and what drove the catfish that one he knew it must be happening all over the place and to he knew there were such people out there that he could help be okay with being themselves
The last case with Trez irritates me so much. Why was Tiana so quick to turn on her friend when Trez was the one catfishing and the friend Aisha was CLEARLY hurt? So now a friendship was ruined over a lying, garbage dude. Like how is the anger at Aisha justified? And to know that Tiana DID try to work it out with him in the end? Trash.

If anything I learned from the show, it's that if they won't talk on the phone and/or do a facetime call, they probably are hiding something. Not always, but a majority of the time. Nothing wrong with even just a quick video call to say hi and saying you aren't comfortable being on camera so you at least know they are who they say they are

It happens. I was really really sick. Dying infact. No oxygen or not enough going to my brain. I ended up getting surgery that saved my life. He turned completely psycho and stalked me, very horrible. Something i am not proud of. Never knew who he really is .
