    Just saw the movie and Jackie Chan was awesome! I hope more people see this film and support him. There are few true Hollywood Legends like him around anymore. He is one of the most talented yet highly under rated actors of our time. I hope to see him in more of a variety of films. Give him the opportunity Hollywood he won't let ya down!!

    I love how the man is 60 yet he looks so young they had to force him to look and act like an old man in the movie. His spirit is as strong as Bruce’s

    The movie is great and Jackie is his usual amazing self, Pierce Brosnan is a big Jackie fan and said he was so pleased to meet him on this movie.

    We should not forget Martin Campbell cause to me he also represents the now old school new cinema or new british cinema (or its german/european counterparts) that has a strong political /socio-political context underlying, which is what we need even more today -( I definitely miss it). And his talent is to combine this with good story telling, thriller elements an down to earth action. Gotta look up Pierce Brosnan as well, cause by watching "The Foreigner" I was reminded of those times when it was almost daily routine to hear or watch some news about that war in Irland back in the days...caught my interest about how close Campbell comes to the actual situation in Irland of today...and yepp, Im a lifelong Jackie chan Fan too and loved to see him in this role, great acting, and all these elements so smartly staged by Mr. Campbell...well done lads :)

      We age differently, but most of us still look like teenagers even though they're 25 and above. I'm 21, but mistaken for an early adolescent by the west and the middle east (online friends and workmates). Fun fact that everybody may already have known:
      1. Asians think of american teenagers as young adults, and americans think the opposite to asians
      2. People of asian countries such as Japan, Korea(Entirety) and China(all chinese countries) look 100% younger than any other asian countries
      3. Lastly, I'm an idiot, I thought India was part of Europe until high school because they don't blend in like any other asian countries (No racism intended, just my idiocy), or maybe because we weren't taught proper geography, even my filipino colleagues didn't know India was an Asian country.

      When I showed to my dad a photo with Jackie Chan from the internet ( about 63 years ) he tought that Jackie is 40-45 years old. It's fantastic!

    And then 'Cut' and I was so happy. Then the director said 'One more time' (the look on Jackie's face, lol)

    Jackie chan is severely underrated when it comes to acting cause most western people knows him for his stunts only. Try learning some Cantonese and watch his older Hong Kong films, he is as good as any academy award winner when he acts in his own native tongue.

    • @chekkygurl182
      @chekkygurl182 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I agree I've seen his Hong Kong movies and there was one that was just about family drama, no fight scenes, and he was just as brilliant of an actor, if not better then some of the Hollywood actors out there

    • @maroooo1793
      @maroooo1793 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That's because he is not given much chance to act because every movie whe was given was always action comedy. Try watching his police story. You'll see how good he is.

      True. Heart of Dragon, Miracle, New Police Story, Rob-B-Hood, Shinjuku Incident are among the best when it comes to acting from Jackie Chan. Heart of Dragon, especially, was such a heartbreaking movie. Like, manly tears, man. Manly tears.

      A Person He sisn't say it bad. He said that he's bored to be typecasted in an action comedy films. He want more serious dramatic roles such as in The Foreigner.
