Thanks for Sharon. Congratulations, Chad. Yaaaaa 👏👏👏👏👏 I appreciate your videos . I always learn something from watching you Chad again, thank you for all of your hard work.👏👏👏👏👏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍 when I figure it out, I’ll send you a coffee ☕️ for sure . 😁😁😁 👋👋👋👋👋
That was gorgeous! Love the yellow flower turquoise. I’m dragging my heels on box clasps. I’ve only made a few. That poor thumb has been through the ringer Chad. Overnight gooping of good old fashioned Vaseline petroleum jelly helps.
Thanks! That’s good advice. My hands have been trashed lately from all the work I’ve been doing. Box clasps are getting easier the more of them I do. This latest one is probably the best one I’ve made:). Take care Van!
@@chadssilversmithing I've also used New Skin, a liquid antiseptic bandage when the cracks are deep. It burns like crazy when you first apply. It is a good temporary thing, but doesn't last very long if washing your hands a lot. It usually peels off within 12 hours.
Creative design and tutorial, thanks! You were out of screen on a lot of making the box clasp, I will watch your box clasp tutorial. Thank you, so much inspiration!
Great video again, thanks so much. I have four rectangular stones that just might work for this. Glad to see the date, some day it will surprise you when you see it.
That is a serious bracelet. I like the cobblestone look, easy and fun to make. And the box clasp is perfect for this bracelet. Another winner. This would look really great if it was oxidized. I oxidize my copper pieces pretty much always, but silver not all the time. This one would look great with some oxidizing. I really like how you mix is up with the project types, lots of each type in your video library.
I have some rose quartz rectangles that I was saving until I could set them in gold (in my dreams). Now this is a great idea for using them, thanks! Also.... I was thinking of buying graph paper for drawing until I heard you talk about your notebooks with the dots. Much better idea--thanks again!
Ooh, Rose Quartz would be pretty! I really do use that idea book a lot anymore. Sketching out stuff has vastly improved my outcomes:). Thanks C. Magdaleno!
Cool bracelet!!! I see you got a miter jig. it’s really hard to air file generally but especially filing on a miter jig. flushing it down filing in the air. works great if you put the miter jig on your bench pen with whatever is poking out the back in the V of your bench pin. then you can file pressing down on the miter jig which is pressing down on the bench Pin. not everybody’s a strong as you to air file. Takes to Long doing it that way
Chad, you have mentioned using a tripod a few times. Could you show us what using a tripod is about? What it looks like and why it's a "good idea" as you said. And why do you choose not to (so far) This would be helpful to see and understand. Thanks so much.
Hello Flying Chef! I never used to use it, so I gave it to a student years ago. I usually mention that as an option for people as it allows access to the bottom of things, and a lot of people buy those right off the bat. Beginners often have trouble getting the back of a bezel hot enough before they overheat the vulnerable bezel strip sitting on top exposed. I guess if I still had one, Imight use it once in a while depending on what I'm making :)

You’re welcome Ceecee! Thanks for the nice comment:)

@@betojdesigns Thank you Van!
You always something different and marvelously interesting. Now I have great plans for my leftover silver. Thank you!
What a nice thing to say! Thanks Lee:)
You don’t have to make excuses for the word retrieval problem, just say “thing” and tell them to look it up 😂
Love this idea, Mahalo 🌺🤙🏻❤️
Hehe! Thanks Paula:)
This video made me want to try to make a Bracelet. Thank you for doing what you do
Thanks! This one was a big project. Lots of bezels and lots of components:)
Creative design and tutorial, thanks!
You were out of screen on a lot of making the box clasp, I will watch your box clasp tutorial.
Thank you, so much inspiration!
Thanks Brenda! The video was getting close to an hour long, so I had to cut it:). The Art Deco Inspired Bracelet has a box clasp as well.
I love the cobbles. That has given me so many ideas.
Did you see the cobblestone ring and the brick rings? Check my Rings Playlist:)
Will do. Thanks!

Thanks Pat! It was a good suggestion:)

Thanks Bees. I might still oxidize the squares on this one. Was going back and forth about that. Thanks for the nice comment:)
Thank you dude! Great piece!
Why thank you Ruth! This one took a while:)
You are really talented.
Thank you so much!
Beautiful job.
Thank you so much 😀
Box o' Rocks sounds good to me. 😊
Btw, I can tell you've been working on your sound quality. Thanks!
Thanks for the nice comment Kathy!

Hi, Chad. Thank you for sharing such wonderful videos! How do you make the clasp springy again?
I usually manually flex it a number of times with some pliers until it gets a bit springier. Thanks Nora:)
Hey Chad, you could also just fuse those rectangular pieces as opposed to adding solder. Contrary to what some say, sterling silver will fuse.
Thanks Dianne. I need to work on learning to fuse silver more effectively. I've struggled with consistency:)
@@chadssilversmithing like you always say, practice 😁have a great weekend!
Beautiful bracelet! I am not sure I am up to the task!
Thanks Carol! This was a time consuming one:)
Hi Chad, I wanted to ask you what size tip you mostly use on your Smith Silversmith torch?
Hello Thommy! I use a number 1 unless I am melting a crucible of silver, in which case, I use a number 3.

If you reheat the piece before you remove it from your solder board, it will not stick or pick up debris.
Good point gmorgan!
What do you do with your silver dust?
Hello gmorgan! It usually ends up in the scrap box to be melted or sold back for fresh materials.
@@chadssilversmithingI’m carefully saving mine to sprinkle on sheet and fuse to make a fab texture.
