Dopamine sounds like something out of an anime opening and Dream of Girls as closing theme. Whatchuneed felt like an anthem for them. I like it a lot.
the UNIS delivered. not sticking to jittery sounds and over the top beats.
Wachuneed's producer is not Korean, that's why the lyrics is full English. F&f also hired Dom Rivinius, which I think was producer for songs of Taylor Swift, BTS, Alicia Keys, Eminem etc as per album song list description of Unis

The songs I liked are Butterfly's Dream & Whatchu Need. I can easily imagine them having their own MVs too, or at least Special Videos. 🤩 For me, Whatchu Need's vibe & lyrics could match as either a starting song or climax song for a concert.
I also watched Universe Ticket, so I recognize Dopamine & Dream of Girls. Of the original songs for the show, I also loved Whateva and Rush Hour.

they’re the Idol girl group I envisioned for so long like the standard I imagined for vocals, visuals, and vibe and now I didn’t expect we got UNIS
I was listening each songs along and kinda like them all. Their melodies and beats style sounded like 2000s anime or game music vibe which easily catchy and makes you feel fresh and fun.

I'm not a KPop fan, I lean more towards JPop and JRock. I think the only ones I've listened to(KPop) on repeat were those 10-15+ years ago. 😂😂😂 (And those ones that has several language versions of the same songs in the few recent years.) But dang UNIS made me listen the whole B side on repeat.
PS. Faves are Dopamine and Dream of Girls(coz it sounds like Kdrama/Cdrama with school or ancient concept. Makes me wanna go back to school for real and the ancient thingy is like you're reminiscing and transported to period drama.😂😂).
Fudge if they put Dream of Girls into a school/period drama or even a time travel drama, I'm watching it.😂😂😂

Talking about survival show. Korea about to come out I-land 2 girl group survival show very soon. The black label is the subsidy of YG entertainment. This time its The black Label who will pick and put together to form a girl group. Taeyang, will be the main producer of the show, Teddy, CEO of the black label, Lee Jung of YGX and monica of street woman fighter will be the dance director/producer. etcc will be the judge/producer. YG family and the black label gonna form a lit girl group for sure. Pretty sure the show gonna have the contestant doing blackpink, Big bang, 2ne1 songs for sure to promote YG lol. I think its gonna be interesting to check it out since its the first time The black Label is joining in to help with a survival show. There is already a few very high quality dance performance videos of I-land girls contestant already on youtube if you like to check it out. Fire dance performance video!!

Agree with you, I'm torn on seowon but listening to their Album, I could tell she want this. So my solution to reciprocate this issue, I think of this group will eventually disband in 2 years 6 months. So yeah within that year I will support them.

Maybe want to catch Korean fans cuz watchuu need is English Korean was not really English speaking country.might be the reason super woman was there pick with English and Korean.
