As soon as he ended the concert, he flew straight to his dad and had the chance to hold him in his arms before his last breath.

Vicente fernandez was our idol icon and one of the best singer out there. Like michael jackson and others like selena quintanilla he was everything in music. His movies his songs his being was memorable. I remember listening to him as a child I am Mexican American and whenever I would live with my mom in Mexico when I was a kid cause I had to fo with her I would see everything almost of his craft and the impact he has on everyone. It's like like if I was 5o mee michael jackson you would go like no question about it same thing with vicente. Also he died I believe on the day we celebrate the Virginia Mary to what we can the Virginia of guadalupe which is her biryhday so that was extra special.
Vicente Fernández was trully a great person not just a performer, to my knoledge he was humble until the end and I loved his saying when on stage "I will keep singing as long as people keep clapping", he actually stayed true to that, my aunt went to his concert one time and he started signing on a Saturday night... didn't stop the show until Sunday around 10am or later 🙂
What a site to see...when I was a kid, I remember buying an album (a CD, México, Voz y Sentimiento) back in the 90's. It was a compilation of fenomenal mexican singers of the time. It had the song, "Amor de los Dos" (Love of Both), with Chente and Alex. Their voices were so beautiful together. I remember I would listen to it closely since they both had almost identical voices. Alejando actually is an architect, he graduated from Universidad del Valle de Atemajac de Jalisco. So he is one of few singers that also have a bachelor degree in the business

I personally love "Song of paradise Island" I'm not sure if that's the songs actual name, but you can definitely find it with that name. His original song "Da yu"(Big fish) is also pretty great but you might prefer going for his cover of the song "Memory" from Cats or "Time to say goodbye". His song "Dalabengba" is really fun to watch but makes very little sense if you haven't seen a translation of the lyrics beforehand
