i relate so much to the “not typically glamorous” self-care. while i do love typical self care things like relaxing baths, a more realistic self care for me is organizing my todo lists, updating my calendar, responding to emails because it relaxes me (and kind of reassures me) that in the future i won’t forget or miss anything important! (relating to when you said “bettering myself in the future”)

I pretty much cook everything I have in my fridge and eat it all lol. You ain't alone.
just a tiny tip for cutting veggies - get a shorter blade for chopping, it makes it much easier to handle and control. a long blade like the one you are using makes it easier to cut yourself! those are great for carving meat, but the shorter blades are better for chopping veggies!

Organizing my planner for the week relaxes me because it sets me into the mindset of the week in terms of what I have to get done, what appointments and meetings I have, what I have to study for, etc. And it calms me down to know what's up. It gives me purpose and control in a way
