I really thought I knew what lerping was. But you actually showed me some new things especially the Color Lerp was helpfull. Before I was just looking at it as a 'magic' function.

This is the best explanation of Lerping on TH-cam. All the other Videos jump directly into code without explaining the function at all(or just repeating what i can read on wiki), so as a newbie you just get lost. Here i understood what it is only by the end of the intro and the code showed a good and simple example! Also the visuals very perfect. Aaand you also explained the math behind it step by step so you really covered everything i wanted to know about Lerping. Thank you very much! I liked and subscribed. Keep up the quality content ✌🙏
I say this is the best representation on the subject. Wish I learned this way in the first place. Even now I have what I feel is the best understanding of lerp now then before. Great work, your efforts is well appreciated.

Thanks. This was incredibly inciteful. I would've thought that a pythogaryian approach would be taken to calculate lerp but the algebraic execution is so much more simpler and better
excellent video, solid explanation and the visuals are really helpful. I already knew lerp and how its used but not how the lerp is actually calculated, now I can use it in any non unity programs I create as well.

Yes I will be! I'm currently in the process of relaunching the FPS controller series since I'd like to improve my examples and methodology. The first episode is currently near completion and will be uploaded soon. I aim to cover jumping and moving in mid-air in the second episode.

Hi ndL. No I haven't been planning any tutorials related to this, and I won't be producing tutorials on PUN 2 in the near future unless I recieve more requests for it. You may want to check out other TH-camrs for these type of tutorials, or read the documentation. Hope you're not too disappointed with this response! At least one good tutorial about lerp in unity, I would have been perfect to talk about slerp and also about smooth or editing the interpolation curve.

I believe showing mathf.inverselerp is important
it remaps a full range to 0 to 1. it's the literal inverse of what lerp does
