Because this was a new concept, I was also puzzled at how to question what is actually confusing me but I found this video and with real plants and demonstration, I was able to understand everything. Some students learn by visualization and biology is real life, everything can't be learnt by slides or simply paragraphs, suppostions and to me abstract ideas, I needed real life demonstration.

Absolutely amazing explanation! Showing what the different organisms look like and showing that they are both still ferns! I wish the textbooks took this approach as opposed to just showing a diagram.
