Listened to this album a week ago and still love it! It's aged well. I always thought it was like a collaboration between Slayer, Public Enemy and Ozric Tentacles.
Only Prodigy's Experience tops this album from the 90's UK music. Every song is a banger, there are no fillers. I like to think of Senser as a political British Beastie Boys.
I was 20 years old when I was down the front here for this - I hate being 49 now but I wouldn't swap being 20 back then. They were even better on the main stage at Reading a couple of months later that year - check out the TH-cam vid of them doing 'Age Of Panic' there, it's nuts seeing a moshpit like that at about 5 30 in the afternoon! I so miss that energy at gigs from back then, but as I've alluded to, I'm so grateful I was young and able to enjoy it when it happened. Different world...sad but inevitable! 😍
I had that experience but at Glasto 1995. The first song kicked in and the pit opened for the big rush in. . . The summer was hot, dry and dusty back then too. Before the days of global cooling.
I think Anthrax were the inadvertent founders of Nu Metal when they did Bring The Noise with Public Enemy. That was back in 1990, so a long time before Senser.
Rage definitely didn't rip them off. The first RATM album came out at the end of '92 and was absolutely massive. Senser didn't release their first single until a year later and I don't know if they were even that well known outside of the UK unfortunately. Neither group ripped the other off, they both developed independently on different sides of the atlantic, probably both influenced by Public Enemy with songs like She Watch Channel Zero and Bring The Noise.

😄 Haha, see where that comes from! Impressive band this still is, they could play it all. This song never lost its urgency.

was there too, (21 then) saw them at Dogfest this year, still brilliant

Happy 50th
Brings back memories. Always though Senser to be one of those overlooked great bands. Nothing like them
I saw them live yesterday. 30 years after this, they still rule!
remember watching this on the TV as a 12 year old, completely blew my young mind...still love it today!
Back when decent bands played Glastonbury not the radio one roadshow it is now
Damn right
I think 1995 was the last true Glastonbury. Before they put that massive new security fence up.
One of my all time favourite bands of all time.
Mine too. ❤
Went to see Ozrics early 90s, all tripy, Senser opened and blew our teenage minds for ever. Amazing 😮
saw it too.GREAT.
Enamored with this band in mid 1990s, beyond delighted to enjoy this now. Pure class and fresh as a daisy.
It’s currently 2022 and still obsessed
I hear ya
Savage AF. ❤
How about now?
@@donniet685 greetings from the ❤️ of Arizona.
insanely great live band
Pioneers!! Still sounds fresh. Thanks so much for uploading and sharing this!
2023 still here!!!
もう消えて無くなりたい本当に。
Falo aqui diretamente do Rio de Janeiro (Brasil), e acabo de conhecer esta excelente banda!! Torço para que eles venham aqui, após a pandemia...🤘
Yeah I saw them live in a small venue. One of the best gigs I've ever been to. Shook hands with the singer guy at the end!
I'm in that crowd, brilliant day
Would there have been nu metal without this band/album at the time?!!
such a great band to see live l think...
I saw them last year and they are still at the top of their game.
I vaguely remember being at this in 1994.. 😂
New years day. I doghing out senser cd
This great band should`ve been huge..........why it didn`t happen...........I`ll never understand.......🤔
I think it's obvious why, sadly everything is political in this world. They were too on the nose, and actually waking people up.
Very underrated band, maybe the founders of Nu Metal?
Rap metal*

Public Enemy: featuring Anthrax - "Bring the Noise" and "Channel Zero" (which Senser covered)

Nice cup of tea
Was Stacked up their best work ? If so they can be very proud of this ❤
Stacked Up was amazing. Their other albums are good, but Stacked Up is special. It's their Master of Puppets or Rust In Peace.
I bought senser’s this album record!! Senser is so cool !!
No flags no phones and no Jo whiley
Great band, I think they showed RATM the way. They deserve a lot more recognition.
senser formed earlier but debuted 2 years later
Bad brains and urban dance squad showed RAtM the way
Senser is the shite. Ratm who ?
This is my Life Theme Song.
tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuune. classic
'94 or '95 opening set on the pyramid stage... i say '95... i was there in body!
Yeah man they opened 95..was great way to kick off.
This is mid-afternoon on the NME stage in 1994. Can't remember which day but have the programme somewhere. Happy days :)
@@ThePen234 i was there about 3pm on the Saturday on the NME stage.
Definitely the Saturday..this was a brilliant set to see live, I was 23 and that year at Glastonbury was amazing.
I still love this group its now 2018 sounds just as fresh
2024. Love this lot.
♠️
Do they do weddings?
Lmao
I hope so !!! ❤
Real
What in God's name does she say in the chorus?
The height of crusty!
They desperately needed another guitar player live.
she is wasted.... my god :S
ti pa nisi¿
😂yeh … I’d have done exactly the same
I'mm seeing what RATM ripped off
Senser's debute - 1994
Ratm debute - 1992
Wtf are you talking about?
