Oh wow, this turned out really cool! I love the idea of making something custom for the actual things you need to organize - I find I will buy something and things don't fit right or something. It never occurred to me to make one myself! Love it.
It really is a mix of different materials I had laying around. I looked at the mess on my desk to see what I used most and what I'd need from a desk organiser and went from there. Make one! Go on!
Omg! I'm not the only one! I start out with a full desk surface and halfway through a project, I'm setting out a tv tray to work on! 😅 I really need to work on that this year, and a desk tidy is a great idea.

But this seems like a really good idea. Must build one too.

I too find old rusty stuff so beautiful , they have so much character and I think the aesthetic makes something far more interesting , some how I can't do " clean " work I have to grunge it up ! . Have you seen my work space 🙃 it's always messy but I think out of mess always comes something beautiful so stay messy and carry on with your wonderful creations , I can't wait to see all your other genres of work ...oh and Happy New Year twinkle toes 😘
