When I watched live the Romanias Cup final on National Arena in Buch, Galeria Craiova, the supporters of Craiova team were spectacular and without firecrackers(not too many LOL). They danced and sang all the time and they even rolled down a huge flag that covered us, but we could still watch the match thanks to the angle of the tribunes 🤩😁😃
The Craiova team from this video is currently on the 12 place in the romanian championship. The other Craiova team of this city is currently 4th in the rankings. That team has less problems with their owner. 😄
Unfortunately you attended the wrong Craiova match. If you wanted to see a beautiful atmosphere, you should attend one of the Universitatea Craiova matches because most of the fans chose to support that team after the dissolution of the original team. After the disappearance of the original team, 2 new teams appeared that have the same logo and claim to be the real team. The legends of the old team together with the city hall created a new team called Universitatea Craiova where most of the fans are and the boss who bankrupted the original team created a new team (the one in the video) where there are very few fans. Btw even if there wasn't that protest there would have been just as many ultras, maybe 200 more.
I'm from Craiova and I'm so sad that you choose this game and this team to watch a game. It's the wrong team that one...it has no tradition and it's just pretending to be the real Universitatea Craiova. Actually there's a court decision that prohibits them to use the name,badge and everything that's related with the old team. They are called FCU Craiova not Universitatea Craiova and they use a fake,copied badge that only resembles with the historic one. It would of been nice to see one game of the real Universitatea Craiova,to see a really nice atmosphere. Hope you will come to a Universitatea Craiova game too someday though 🤗
FCU is closer to the truth. The other team, csu, is a politically established team directly in the 2nd league. Currently csu benefits more fans having other benefits because of politics in Romania. FCU continues the tradition of the 2011 team that was dissolved by the Romanian football federation. But you have not caught a good time to come to FCU.

I know i send you there :)) but i failed to mention back then that this is the Craiova smaller team (FCU CRAIOVA) of the city that is playing there :)) The big one (CS Craiova) was play away unfortunately, in Arad. But nex week they will play home and the atmosphere is way different. 😅 Why there are 2 Craiova teams that play on the same stadium? Its a good question, the simple answer is that the idiotic owner that run now the smaller team that you witness insist he is the real Craiova team, its same problem at Steaua Bucharest (FCSB in the 1 league and Steaua in the second league.) Rapid was actually in the same situation couple years ago when they relegated with no less than 3-4 teams Rapid that claimed that they are the "real" Rapid team. Fortunately Rapid fixed this issue, but Steaua and Craiova not so much. They should make a fusion asap but there are to many "dirty" interests and money in the middle to be so simple. Steaua, Rapid, Dinamo (that has relegated as well last year because of financial interests) and Craiova, are teams with a lot of history behind in Romania and Europe and its sad that because of corruption and greed this situation (unique in the world) happen in the Romanian league. P.S. If you want to see a good football atmosphere in Romania there are only this teams now in the first league that have this: Rapid (you know it already) UTA Arad, U Cluj, Craiova (but the other team), and Petrolul Ploiesti.

Craiova didn't play that well for years but in 2002 they had managed to win the first 3 matches of the championship and then there was the match against Steaua București, one of the biggest arch rivals for Craiova. People started going to the match at 11AM, at 2PM in the afternoon the stadium was full, the match was supposed to start at 4PM. 40.000 people were in the stadium (a lot more than maximum capacity), in trees and the lighting system towers....and 40.000 were outside the stadium because they couldn't get in. It was the highest number of people in Romanian football history that wanted to attend a match. During Craiova matches there were cases when people died as they cheered when Craiova scored and jumped for joy forgetting they were in a tree and they fell to their deaths. That's how insane the fans of Craiova were. The team is known as ""Champion of a great love" and had the highest number of fans for years!

(the most beautiful library in the world)(also, the university where it is located is very beautiful) Iasi will impress you most if you walk through it and discover the amazing architecture. Hai Sibiuuu! Nope, they wouldn't have won with more fans, Hermannstadt likes to play with a bigger crowd too, even if it's an away one. UTA or FCSB can attest to that :) If you're still in Romania, come to one our games, maybe at the opening of the new stadium next month or in December (well, hopefully, but things are looking great). And if you manage to find seats, it will be wild. I'll vouch for a top atmosphere. Would have been great for you if we played Rapid sooner but it's 14 or 13 games in the future.

You guys didn't came when both teams were playing some football, now not so much. Just search for Oblemenco from last year or 2 years back when CSUC used to play against CFR Cluj or FCSB.

The team that has the right to use this name is CS Universitatea Craiova, which has all the supporters and all the legends. Fcu has nothing to do with the club that went bankrupt 11 years ago because of the owner of this team who has no continuity. You can look for when you can come to Craiova, the dates of CS Universitatii's home matches, and come then, you will have something to show the subscribers of this channel.
Funny story for Steve: the owner of the club that they were protesting against is named Mititelu(Adrian Mititelu). Mititel is a diminutive for mic(mici at singular), mititei=mici(plural). Mic also translates to "small" or "little".

@@radu4281 înțeleg ce vrei sa zici , la fcsb dinamo stadionul a fost mai plin însă peluza lui Dinamo nici măcar nu a avut coregrafie ,iar la capitolul torte + bannere nu se compara cu Dinamo - Csa + am fost la stadion la meci se simțea clar o tensiune ( te facea sa simti ca e o ura mare între cele 2 echipe) , bine nu zic ca la fcsb -dinamo sau steaua-dinamo nu ar fi o ura , după părerea mea ca și dinamovist tot fcsb este steaua oricum, dar zic ca Fcsb - Dianmo părea un derby puțin mai prietenos chiar dacă suna ciudat mai ales în ultimii ani de când peluza sud steaua nu mai susține echipa multe brigăzi din vechea peluza nord s-au dus și ei la csa.
Oricum ambele meciuri sunt frumoase totuși liga României e plina de multe derby-uri superbe sa nu uitam de FCSB-Rapid, Rapid -Petrolul , Csu Craiova - FC U Craiova ,CFR- U Cluj, Uta - Poli, noi trebuie sa ne bucuram de ele

People started going to the match at 11AM, at 2PM in the afternoon the stadium was full, the match was supposed to start at 4PM. 40.000 people were in the stadium (a lot more than maximum capacity), in trees and the lighting system towers....and 40.000 were outside the stadium because they couldn't get in. It was the highest number of people in Romanian football history that wanted to attend a match. During Craiova matches there were cases when people died as they cheered when Craiova scored and jumped for joy forgetting they were in a tree and they fell to their deaths. That's how insane the fans of Craiova were. The team is known as ""Champion of a great love" and had the highest number of fans for years!

dude, I went to the same exact match. I stood where the whole commotion was going on, with the hardcore fans (where the NU NE MERITAȚI sign was). I just gotta say you are a very, very lucky man. not to scare you or anything, but if you decided to stay where the hardcore fans were with that beanie of yours... it would probably have ended pretty badly, because that's the rival team, and you could've seen the wrath of 9 years of taunting and separation of an entire city, just for the sake of football. despite being a fan of FCU 1948 i condone any hatred against the other team that can end violently
