Adrian Peterson was the best pure running back of all time. With the modern competition and seeing him in his prime, I don’t think we will ever see someone like him again.
God bless you brother. Great video, and I love that you love the anthem. Many men died for that song. And AP woo boy he's fun to watch. His college highlights are fun too. Great stuff
Adrian Peterson was probably the most talented running back ever drafted. He is 5th on the all time list for rushing yards. He also missed 2 full seasons of his prime due to injury and legal issues. He had his issues as a reciever, and lost some fumbles, but his return from total knee reconstruction was something to behold...he fully recovered in less than 9 months and won the MVP award rushing for more than 2000 yards and nearly breaking the regular seaon record...this is what NFL fans will most remember AP for
Adrain Peterson was very fast too lol. Size, agility and speed...seeing as how he never had much for post season success, ranking him 5th or 6th all time isn't a stretch. Based on talent alone, he could be top 5 next to Barry Sanders, Gale Sayers, Jim Brown, and Walter Payton. Emmitt Smith is definitely top 10 as well, but he had the best offensive line ever to run behind
as a vikings fan, i still remember seeing Adrian come 8 yards short of that single season rushing yards record, just one more run and he coulda taken it…
At the time this injury was usually 12-14 months easy. 10 years prior it could be career ending. He came back in 9 months and then had the 2nd greatest rushing seasons of all time and won the leagues MVP
He was fully medically cleared as well. It’s not like he came back still hurt. Some men are just built different and this man was super human. He was even better after the injury. Believe it or not. I live in the state he played for. I watched every game of his career. He missed the record by 7 yards. The difference is he did it after tearing his ACL and MCL and the record holder didn’t. 7 yards extra ain’t anything compared to 2 torn knee ligaments
@@Chiny_Ok_ I’ve been an Adrian Peterson fan since Oklahoma. He carried my franchise for a long time. I get the best rushing season vibe. But statistically he was 7 yards and 2 touchdowns short of Dickerson. It took Dickerson 21 more Carries to reach what he got. But it’s not a league of coulda or wouldas. It’s what is. I believe it was the best. But statistically speaking. It was the 2nd best. Can’t argue stats.
Dickerson had MORE yards, and a couple more TDs, but given the load he had to carry facing 8 and 9 men boxes, most would say it was the best/greatest rushing season ever
Adrian Peterson...#1

Wow...that's incredible. MVP immediately after such a serious injury

12:32 was shy 9 yards of the all time record after completely destroying his knee. All time LEGEND performance.
if the vikings had not been playing for a playoff spot. . peterson would have broken the record that night
Game has changed to more of a passing league. Last of the great running backs of all time. The greatest due to the competition.
Did he say, “not that bad” to AP being 9 yards short of breaking the all time single season rushing record? lol

Thats crazy 😳
Correction: GREATEST rushing season. Considering the team situation
