hey! i just got a cstc 40 a month ago and i really like it, I have struggled a bit with some loose switches (mostly a,s,z,x, .. that area), i think it might be because of the plate it came with, im just wondering if you had any trouble with it like me or if its just my unit did you buy a separate plate or are you using the stock one it came with? thanks for the videos, really pushed me to buy one!
I'm using the stock plate and yes I struggle with that too. you either have to use a switch fork or hold the plate up with your fingers when you press in switches, like I do. you know it's secure when you hear it clip in. unfortunately doesnt always work but I live with it
I didn't find ortho very challenging. started off day 1 like -50 average wpm and went up to -10 wpm in a few weeks. however the bottom left keys (z/x/c/v) took longer to adjust to and I still sometimes mispress them in daily use 2 years later

hows the non staggered. i tried non ortho at mini meet and couldnt type on it at all. did it take long acclimate?
