India needs promotion and motivation. Just imagine the adrenaline of athletes when the house is packed. It will even impact the time they run.
Sell tickets, promote in media, people should know the home athletes first.

After considering the treatment what we receive from our government (no interest at all except political battles), vantage that we get from sports board / committee (useless one) and coaching that we receive from non performing old athletes, i would say our girls perform far far better.. keep going girls 👍

Promoting sports is very important in India. More money will bring in better coaches and better athletes and better timings.. The government should support sports. We see a lot of interest in cricket, why can’t we give more support towards sports activities?
India has wasted such a talent. She was a world champ u20 back in 2018 and an asian silver medalist, her times have since not improved.

Himadas is not running close to the inner circle during the curve distance unlike Dhanalaxmi, she is running 2 or 3 mrs. more . If she sticks to the inner circle along the curve she may have some edge. Good luck.

What are the coaches of hima das doing by letting her run everything. They should hone and preserve her to run the 400m, making her everything after coming back from a injury will destroy her body, really not expected this from her coaching staff.

Update: Dhanalakhsmi Sekar failed dope test and was excluded from Indian contingent to Commonwealth Games 2022. She cheated to get qualified. Shame on her.
