Stir Fry Pork Belly with Black Bean Sauce
This dish is very tasty and easy to make. Something new to you could be fermented black beans which you can easily find it in Asian groceries. Give a it try. Just watch out for the chill the one I made in this video is pretty spicy for me. :)
    **INGREDIENTS**
    400g / 0.8 lb pork belly
1 tablespoon of fermented black beans = salted black beans amzn.to/2Gv7iHh
    Chilli (depends on you)
    2 cloves of garlic minced
    1 slice of ginger minced
    Sauce:
1 tablespoon of soy sauce - amazon amzn.to/2Rr9x4V
1 tablespoon of oyster sauce amazon amzn.to/2Gn8QFK
1 tablespoon of Chinese cooking wine - amazon amzn.to/39XVkm4
1/4 teaspoon of white pepper powder
    1/4 cup of water
    1 teaspoon of cornstarch - amazon amzn.to/2wzPvxQ
    **HOW TO MAKE**
    [PREPARE THE PORK BELLY]
    - Blanch the pork belly by boiling in water for 5 mins. Then cool down in cold water
    - cut the pork belly into thin slices
    [PREPARE THE FERMENTED BLACK BEANS]
    - Soak the black beans in water for 10 mins to remove dirts
    - Cut the black beans into small pieces
    [COOK THE PORK BELLY]
Heat up the wok. Heat up a bit of oil (not too much).
Add the pork belly. Pan fry until each side got golden brown
    Then set aside
    [ STIR FRY]
Heat up the wok. Heat up 2 tablespoons of oil
Turn to medium heat. Add the aromatics (garlic, ginger, fermented black beans, chilli)
Add the pork belly, turn to high heat. Stir fry for 2 minutes
Then add half of the sauce. Mix well
Add the rest of the sauce. Mix well
Then it is done and transfer to the serving plate
Serve with a bowl of rice.

My husband worked at a chinese restaurant in Sergeant Bluff Iowa in about 2008. This man made thee most insanely good food. Still the pinnacle for hot and sour soup. Never had better.
He made a black bean pork that was so good. Tear inducing. It was so delicious. I think he coated an entire belly with a black bean paste and baked it. 12 years later still thee yummiest thing I have ever tasted on earth. That man will live in my memory forever. I don't even remember his name.

Really nice video and the recipe looks great! Just one minor thing about what you said about the peppers, the seeds aren't actually the source of the spicy, the part that is spicy is the placenta that the seeds are attached to is the spicy part. :)

This is one of the tastiest, easier ways to cook pork belly. Except for the cooking wine, which can be dicey at times to find, the rest of the ingredients are easy to find. I've had difficulty finding Xiao Xing (Chinese) cooking wine, so I settled for 2 kinds of Korean cooking wines as substitutes; one is akin to Xiao Xing, while the other is more distinctly light palm/coco wine. They're ok. Thanks for this upload! Hope you are much better, well, and safe where you are.

The seeds are NOT the source of spiciness of peppers.
