Subsequently for the official release we got more of a cage look to the design. And just an fyi, the Jordan 5 was originally supposed to have a collar strap. 😲 cue in ‘the more you know’ jingle! I just copped a pair of the Moonlights this morning for my father. I've picked up some 🔥 Jordan's for that man. He wears them to the casino and gets high praise 😆. Never too old, even when you're retired.
Great review!!! Was waiting for Chris’ opinion on the material. I wonder if that material will yellow fast. The colorway is super clean but would’ve been perfect with leather in the collar. I think it is a pass for me. I already have a couple of white 5s and other orange based Js. Hope whoever gets them enjoys them!

I just ordered a pair this week, this shoe is super underrated i see people saying they don't like the upper cause it isn't leather. But they like the off white 5 a shoe with zero leather pure plastic. This is a better shoe in my opinion.
If you want them buy them! I remember when I got my first pair of 5s the fire red lows when I was in the 8th grade I loved them now that I have a job and I’m 19 I have 3 pairs of 5s now
Love the outsole on these, and the sail/orange is a good look imo (these would look great with one of those sail SF Giants jerseys I've seen people wear imo). I just don't like the way the collar looks with that new material.
I think the "cast" netting is a call back to the AJ4. If they would of used red instead of orange on the midsole it would of been a nice "evolution" displaying the transition of the AJ4 to the AJ5 🔥

Unofficially being labeled or called Shattered Backboard 5's,I did not like these at first but having these in hand/feet they grew on me,Sometimes JB hits it right and most times they don't but I respectfully disagree with outsole etc to much orange,New materials hit different and the Sail and Amberish outsole compliment colorblocking a great fall shoe so those who want them won't be disappointed!that's my 2 cents that nobody asked for 😁👍💯💥all good either way cop/drop

The ankle material is as tough as the leather part mine are perfectly fine, not wrinkled at all & they do not feel like they gonna get ruined at all. Beautiful color I 100% recommend them. And he did not even show the reversed Air Jordan inside the tongue that looks cement shiny too.

I finally saw what you were talking about with the toe! Lol now they need to fix that, can't be unseen 👀😄 and I think they slapped it on there because it's a material they're putting on the blazers and jordan 1's so they're trying to make it a familiar material and it's not a material I like 🙅♂️

Paired mine with distressed blue jeans a hemp Jordan shirt and a cream giants hat! They work well with off white or neutral colors!
