FP wins 9/10 times on a full size table. Hands down.

Noticed the illegal serve right away LOL. Bob's style of play is hard to beat though. Just all defense, and forces the opponent to not make mistakes.
Not really. He has no spin at all. Normally defensive players got under spin at least. Bobs a great guy, funny as heck….but not very good at ping pong. He’d get lit vs a decent player.
Perez is 100% right about the serve.
Thank you for finding this. I think if the table was regulation size, Perez might have won. His power shots were limited due to the smaller table and Bob had some difficulties with it.

I think a full sized regulation table rematch is needed.
A sober match and progressively more sauced up matches. I feel these two both can handle some drinks and play alright still.

Not discrediting what you’re saying and maybe you knew this. originally BDS was going to be him traveling around and playing different sports going to different sporting events etc. But the golf videos did so well they decided to turn it into a golf channel

Bobs serve is legal in Ping Pong, but it’s illegal in Table Tennis, Perez’s serve is legal in both. Ping Pong is just a less formal version of Table Tennis. Ping Pong also usually goes to 21, whereas Table Tennis plays to 11.

FP was definitely NOT making excuses…he was setting the record straight. The conditions and and setting of that table was far from acceptable to gather an accurate representation of ANYONES skill. Bob plays ping pong like a 12 year old. No spin, no english… just has good eyes and can put the paddle in the way at the right time.

As someone who spent way too much time playing ping pong I’ve tried one of these little combo tables and it’s so hard the more practice you have the harder it gets the shot you’ve hit thousands of times no longer works

Gotta see the rematch on a real table with real rackets and balls and official rules. That being said, they were both using the same equipment and Perez took longer to adjust.
Tossing the ball up and letting it fall 6 inches before you hit it is legit. Perez is 100 percent correct look up the rules.

Fp is right about the serves, you have to throw it up with the ball exposed the entire time in your hand… also, using the net is generally frowned upon. Most legit players will apologize for net points…
Seeing Perez complain about an “illegal serve” and making an excuse about the table is the most non Perez thing I’ve ever seen… I’d expect it from cutsy but not FP

For the serve the ball has to be thrown up atleast 6 inches in the air with an open palm. Sorry Bobby but perez beats you with actual rules and on a regulation table.
