This journey bring us in the past time of Railways. Same coaches were in Pakistan with DC power yellow bulbs. I have experience of such journeys in my Engineering College days in 1999-2003

इस ट्रेन की अद्भुत यात्रा का आनंद जीवन हमने कई बार लिया है।अकोला से इंदौर जाना हमारे लिए एक अनोखा अनुभव हुआ करता था।घर से थोडा बहुत खान पान की सामग्री के साथ यह यात्रा प्रारंभ होती थी।रास्ते में अकोट, धुलघाट का वनविहार,४ का आंकडा देखते हुए, सनावद मोरटक्का पहुंचते थे।मां नर्मदा जी विशाल जलपात्र देखकर भावविभोर हो उठते थे।अगला पड़ाव रहता था कालाकुंड... यहां पर ट्रेन से नीचे उतरकर, प्रकृति का मनोहारी दृश्य को देखते थे और साथ में लजीज कलाकंद मिठाई का आनंद लेते थे।यहां से दुर्गम घाटीसे जब ट्रेन धीमे धीमे पहाड़ी पर चढती थी तो सबकुछ भुल जाते थे, पातालपानी जलप्रपात, जंगल, घाटी का नजारा देखते हुए महू और फिर ,गंतव्य स्थान इंदौर पहुंचते थे।वापसी फिर यह आनंद यात्रा दोहराती थी।अब,ये सब, बीते दिनों की बात हो गई है ,यादों की माला बन गई है और रफ्तार की दौड मे जिंदगी खो गई है।हमें अपनी अमुल्य धरोहरों को संजोए रखना चाहिए... दुर्भाग्य से ये होता हुआ नहीं दिखाई देता है।मीटरगेज ट्रेनों को, बरकरार रखकर, इनमें सुधार करने की जरूरत है।

I have travelled many a times on this meter gauge line between Sanawad to Indore, a scenic route. When the train ran between Sanawad and Indore the fare was just Rs. 20.
