I could talk days and days about this movie. I didn't expect him to die aswell. They way he was not there for her at the end. The scene where he read the messages she left for him online. They way she knew that he had a year to live. The Gerberas. My heart broke into pieces seeing him in those conditions at the end. So bittersweet i cant find the words. I didn't want to do this to myself at first. Even tho it was sad i dont regret watching it cause it was so amazing. I don't usually like this type of movies but man how this one fuced me up
I am also battling cancer right now and this movie has given me a lot of positivity during this difficult time, I can only thank you for that, because the portrayal of Haruna and Akito makes it a lot easier for me I was also in tears when I saw the movie, for me an absolute masterpiece. In my opinion, the story, the music and of course the actors in Drawing Closer deliver top performance and seduce you into a world that can make you sad, but also happy. The aim is to make every day feel special and to live it that way.
Ren Nagase from 'Hold my hand at Twilight' and Natsuki from ' The Makanai'? I'll lay my life for these two gorgeous, talented actors. Can already tell it's going to be a hit! 😮

As a German, I would have hugged the girl, but Japanese culture is a little different than German culture. And that's just as well. For me it's definitely the best film in a long time. Outstanding director, outstanding film crew and overwhelming film actors. many hours later.Today I saw this wonderful, heartwarming film 3 times in Japanese with German subtitles and once in the German translation. The Japanese original is unbeatable. The German translation is far too harsh. The original voices and the Japanese accent make the film simply uniquely beautiful. If you want to do something good for yourself as a non-Japanese, then definitely watch the Japanese original with subtitles.

Death and life are interchangeable, what matters is what you do with it when death confronts you. Are you going to accept it and live your remaining days as a shell or are you going to make the most out of it and “live” like there is no tomorrow. This movie will certainly make you feel a mix of anticipation, sadness, love, happiness, and gratitude. I love this movie and 10/10 recommend. P.S. - Sorry for the long paragraph 🤣
The line "I think we were born just so we could meet each other". Sounds beautiful, it's moved me so much, just like a reminder: If you feel confused of why you're born, maybe that could be one of the reason why you're living "to meet your destined one". There will come a time when you will wish to be given a little more time and strength to be able to live, when that day comes.

I haven’t seen a good J Drama film in a while and just from the trailer I seen on Netflix I could feel the potential and it did not disappoint! For me good story telling is when they basically tell you what’s going to happen right at the beginning then you are like why should I keep watching this I already know what’s going to happen but the story is so powerful and captivating you keep watching regardless of knowing the outcome . It’s so hard to pull that off props to them I read this was based off a popular Japanese Novel.
I want to be with you forever, even if it's a day, a minute, or a second. I think anyone can have someone they like. There are also many scenes that you can sympathize with. Delivered to a lot of people~
