- I wanted to dress up the sheaths of my mora and hultafors knives… so in this video I create a paracord sheath, or paracord wrap, for each to them.
The cord lock at the end is something that I saw Simon do on Packed to Live. Check out his channel.

Nice work
Well presented video, great idea wrapping 550 paracord around the sheathes and the way you wrapped it, Great work!
Thanks for sharing.
cheers mate :)
Looks like what you are making is a series of Cow Hitch knots.
looks way cooler with the paracord :)
thanks dseed .... they are good sheaths, but needed some dressing up.
Nice practical sheath. Now my mind is thinking what other gear can I cover with paracord using this simple technique.
Cheers...it is a nice way to add another dimension to gear. Thanks for watching Australian Survivalist
I did this video in april 2013...
Glad you also like it
BrotherBeard75 - and did a better vid which I saved to my favs over this one
I gotta give this a try, cool
Dean O it is a nice way to get outside and see new things! thanks for watching Dean.
Very interesting video mate :-) I'll have to give this a go. I'm pleased to see someone showing the Hultafors knives as well as Moras - I believe they are AT LEAST as good as Moras and, in the UK, only half the price :-)
thanks for watching Jim... I really like the Hultafors; it's comfortable in the hand and easy to control. I haven't used the Mora much though, so I can't compare yet.
Looks good!! You make it look easy!! ;-)
it is easy BillGoudy ! thanks for tuning in.
nice one my friend , might have to give this a go !
atb john
cheers... first time I have played around with paracord and I am happy with the results. thanks for watching
Can you show me how you finished it off. I did what you did but I don't know how you tied it off
Jordy Montes thanks for watching... sorry about not showing how to finish the wrap.... I will try to get a video up in the next few days. it is pretty easy though... just snip off the excess paracord and then use a match or lighter to melt the cord a bit and then - using a knife or edge of lighter - flatten the melted end into the surrounding cord. sorry about that jordy... EveryDay Knife Guy is where I get lots of my paracord ideas, so check him out too. atb, luke.
Thanks mate!
no problem...I hope it was helpful!
I do not recognize the model of the mora knife. Some help please?
Looks like a morakniv companion
Will this work on a sheath that is my hard plastic???
how many meters?
How long do you need parachute rope for this operation?
Cevat COŞKUN I started with about 3 meters (9 foot).
What the hell how did you close it off the most important part you cut off damn it...lol
the same way you close off most paracord weaving, melt and press. Sorry brother.
