It's actually true though, because in origami you are only supposed to fold the piece of paper you have. And plus you can't have any tape,glue, scissors etc. Or otherwise it's not an origami

you can use just a plain sticky note but make sure to rub the sticky part off on a flat surface so it does not mess it up

Fold the diagonal folds nicely. Then you will be able to do the triangle fold easily.
