@Splitskirts, We looked at your channel and were fascinated by the videos featured there. An elderly veteran once said to my wife at an event where she had set up a display that women of today do not seem to realize that they can be courageous and strong and still be feminine. We especially enjoyed watching the series of videos on Hanna Reitsch. We live near a woman who lived through the Siege of Stalingrad and wrote several books, Kyra Petrovskaya Wayne. Alice set up a display honoring her.
@donoghue666 @donoghue666 Thank you for the feedback on the video of Alice. My grandfather served in the 8th Air Force, 83rd Fighter Squadron, 78th Fighter Group and was stationed at Duxford. We have his uniforms, diaries, letters, telegrams, pictures and much memorabilia. Alice's father was in the 3rd Armored Division Spearhead under General Rose. He also served in Korea and Vietnam. We loved your channel. We subscribed and gave you thumbs ups on your videos. Keep up the good work!
i have to say i like the uniform...personally i prefer the more soldier side but still i can appreciate the attention to detail and its important to keep the memories of the poeple in ww1-2 alive. check out my channel if you fancy...i have a soldiers uniform for ww2 british...not womans though
