Absolutely agree! I always say that if someone is starting out and just want to try shore jigging, buy one pink and one sardine colored slim jig minnow. Thank you for your comment!
@@NicodaFishing yes my friend,, exactly!! Only disadvantage is when weather is windy, then i choose something more stable on currents. But this has a very very realistic fall motion. This is an all around jig (of my friend Markos Vidalis) Keep going!
Right on the money! Yeah, if it is too windy I normally resort to something rear weighted, but saying that, slim jig will still fly straight when casted in to the wind. Tight lines, brother!
I love your metal Jiggs bait I also use metal Jiggs but I get the micro Jigs for Pier fishing I love your spinning combo 🎣👍🏼 I'm New to your fishing TH-cam channel 🎣
Really appreciate you saying that brother! Yeah, that was probably the latest time I used that setup hahah. Now I bring the lighter set up in case I get spooled or lose a big amount of line so I can keep fishing.
You hit highlight on gopro after the strike ? Seems to me like a waste of precious time especially for the AJ that goes straight to the rocks after the strike.
Thanks for the comment, appreciate your feedback! I have the GoPro set on hindsight which starts the recording 30 seconds in the past, before I push the record button so the camera doesn't have to record all the time.
@@hldemi_fishingyeah it's a great feature for fishing but you are correct, it makes space for a possible mistake and I actually lost a smaller fish this weekend because of this. Maybe will start using voice commands instead.
@@NicodaFishing i just use powerbank with which I can record for 8 hours straight. So I record all the time. Voice commands are also problematic in a way that they are no realiable. Especially with all the wind and waves sounds. Regarding the first few seconds, this is great time to stun the fish with counters.. if you have 30 secs time span it would be better to use them around 20-30 after the strike.
@@hldemi_fishing Power bank will definitely be my next investment as with two batteries I'm limited to around 3h of fishing at the moment. Really appreciate the tips!
@@NicodaFishing thanx bro for the reply ...I have been watching your videos lately and I find your channel very interesting ..keep going bro I myself do shore jigging but in a spot that has more than 70 m of depth...anglers who used to go to the same spot before me told me its too deep for a variety of fish to be caught...we usually get there false albacore and bonitos and its very very rare that some other fish is caught because they stay in the bottom and its too deep to reach....I was told it is better to go for depths like 40 m or less to get more variety of fish I hope to hear your thoughts about this subject.
@@soufianebakbok4828 Thank you so much for the feedback and your comment Brother! 70m is a great spot, especially if it has a vertical wall. What size reel do you use? If no one is fishing the bottom there you can really get some amazing catches!!
@@NicodaFishing that is exactly the problem...its not a vertical wall...and the tide is strong most of the times...it is a complicated spot because after some caves and huge rocks that are just under our feet...the 70 m becomes 120 and more just 50 m away from the shore
Im waiting for your video every day, here in Cyprus less fishes than in malta . That because i like you video because you inspiring me to go outside and try to cach come here. Thanks a lot for your videos. But if it possible, olease write on video conditions.
Thank you very, very much brother, I am happy to hear that you get inspired! Will hopefully start adding more information in the future when I have more time to dedicate to editing and making the videos. Thank you for the feedback, it is greatly appreciated!
why don't you try to pause the jerks a bit and start with a slow then fast pace? imho you re too fast..., fishes / predators need to see the reflections of the jig like it's a wounded fish, do fast, pause, do some slower and then all over again, you ll see results.
Normally I alternate between many jigging speeds during a session, from shore slow to high speed to see what will produce a bite on that day. Really appreciate the comment and your feedback!

So nice. Your spot is amazing! Do you try sometimes with a teaser in front of the jig?
Thank you for your videos and hello from France 🎣👋
Thank you for the comment! I have not tried that yet but I have had that on my mind for a while. Might try it in the future and make a video about it!

Looks like Greece, nice Video!
Thank you! It is filmed in Malta.
Oh wow, I've been there, there are very few fishing spots, most places are cliffs...Nice!@@NicodaFishing
@@felixklassen9187 yeah, the shore jigging spots are limited to about a handful around the whole island and can become quite busy during the weekends.
@@NicodaFishing that's crazy 😅🙈
Keep the videos comming bro, I like them. The rocks where you fish are special. Ps...never downsize in a frenzy 😅

Have you tried it before sunrise thank you 🙂
Usually there is mostly Barracuda before sunrise, but they can be great fun on lighter tackle!
Ah oky I understand stickbait fun🎉
