For ZT-S-3, don't forget you can also bring robots to help bait the boss teleport.
This. I used greythroat instead of exusiai, so I had to deploy Ines to kill 1st phase of the boss in time. But then I only had 1 deployment slot left and Ines' invisibility make the boss can't target her. If I didn't use Castle-3 as bait then he would teleport Saria instead.

This boss mechanic is so fun. Coz if u deploy texas alter, everytime he teleports her, xalter's talent also gets refresh. I accidentally cleared lots of minimobs just because of that. 💀

the amount of times i accidentally started the stage without horn because i didnt spend more than 5 seconds aft he showed the squad XD
i also do not have horn and its incredibly difficult to find horn with s1 from supp list

those increased stats in CM are insane, I finished S-2 fairly well replacing Horn with Firewhistle and Thorns on normal mode, but in CM Thorns gets wiped almost instantly
I place thorns 1 tile up left. Beside the device. So nightingale module can reach him
I hate and happy that ZT-S-5 is the easiest, Lone Trail traumatized me.
Thanks for the Guide~! also, using Texas Alter S3 and Yato Alter S2 could make you easily kill the boss with the device, it's funny that I feel sorry for the boss.

Lone trail's final S stage made me a ww1 vet
Yato Alter S1 because it has ASPD+, lasts longer (maybe this doesn't matter), and hits multiple times. Maybe it doesn't matter which you pick but S1 works well too.
I didnt realize leaving the boss for last could cause an insta-loss
I think every large boss like that has an enrage; Quintus and Shang-Xiang (or whatever it's called), as well as the first boss of IS-4 can all drain all your LP if left on the field for a certain time.

@@WhatTheGame Yeah they like to slap it on bosses that don't normally move, but teleport too. For example IS4's 3rd boss. >_>
Be careful not to use Yato Alter S3 as a teleport bait. Yato disappears from the field when she does her S3 attack so if there are 2 boss teleports back to back it will take some other unit as a target while Yato is flying around.
thanks for this tip i was wondering why my mudrock was somtimes getting teleported, i did it any way, but that explains it.
Młynar for ZT-S-3 will make things really weird because his taunt forces the boss to swap him. Thorns is still mainly used for boss dps, so for replacements, maybe try Silverash first.

Yeah, i use ptlopsis to change nightingaless. Then skalter with eyjalter, blaze with hoederer, while exu support unit :)

Thank you Kyo-sama, as always. My perpetual zero-sanity doktah managed to clear half (1-3 Normal and 1-2 CM) of the S stages by good ol-brute force method but hit the wall after 3-CM. And so we come here for solace and enlightenment on the error of our ways. LOL

THANK YOU KYO!!! Once again, my medal is yours! All other stages + CMs I cleared in 1 day. ZT-S-3 CM took me 3 days!
Didn't have Nightingale or Skalter, Thorns or Blaze. So Eyja alter and ptilopsis S2 ModX did the trick. I sub Qiubai for Thorns and Lappland for Blaze. Then used Surtr S2M3 in front of the tuner for more DPS and kept her there to kill the rest of the mob. Still didn't kill boss at one go. Got him in the second cycle. Towards the end, I threw in Ceobe S2M3 ModX to wipe out the remaining mob.
Earlier on, I looked at your low end squad, but unfortunately the timing just didn't work for me. The boss teleported faster than I could put down Cliffheart and Rope (who both died). Couldn't find a high level Executor alter, so he died too. You have spoilt us so much with your High End AFK, but you explain so much in your low end guides, they help me to tweak the high end.
In one stage, you made me realise that I should block off some minions so that the turret fire can hit the boss. That helped a lot, since throughout that stage, I was wondering why the boss won't die.
the witch king is so powerful that he can only defeated by backstabs

Because I have her both Max Level and Modules 3 her damage actually was penetrating Witch King's Defense, and was actually Chipping his health. Fortunately he teleported away before he lost enough health to force a teleport! Lol

I didn't have time for all of them so 5CM wasn't done. Tried to do it last night an hour before rollover but my phone's battery was low. At least I got everything I wanted from the shop. Thanks for the help again, Kyo. This boss, despite having an RNG element, can be pretty fun.

for ZT-S-2, Horn without module can't kill the orchestra enemy in time before it targets the tuning node. it's only a slither of HP though, so just bring someone who can deal a bit of damage to it if you don't have Horn's module.
I think max level Exia and Eyja, with max module/mastery, might also affect it a bit, since Horn might target other enemies. I never could beat the conductor using this strat before he got in range of the tower, had to adapt with extra units.
I used other operators, but thanks to you I managed to complete all stages.

The mvp for this event is that turret. You can use it even after the boss is dead to clear out enemies before they reach your frontline.

Nice clear kyo ZT-S-3 quite simple also I just deployed the fast redeplot to teleport redeploy on any location. I use surtr and kal'tsit to kill the boss

Careful on ZT S-5 when retreating your fast redeploys early after the boss 1st phase. I screwed up and got my mudrock teleported, wait a couple seconds and retreat them :v

In ZT-S-4 if you dont have a good ifrit, you can also use Virtousa S3. semi-afk, as you need to activate it when the big waves come. but VERY effective

I used Silverash in place of Blaze. Had to rotate 3 fast redeploys to keep Skadi alive, letting boss hit just once in between. After first rotation things got easier.
If you use Eija alter, deploy right after vanguard to charge skill.
For S2 and all that mountain that level 40 below: bring defender medic and one unit that only targeting the machine.... Also this tips for non exu enjoyer if you don't have them. Still replaceable
Edit: S4 here if you don't have nightingale here and ifrit (ifrit can borrow) just use your aoe medic like ptilop or perfumer same thing but put blaze behind and saria in front of blaze... Sometimes Ethan died but that's fine because the one you need to save is ifrit!?👍

if you don't have exu+skalter+nightingale for ZT-S-3 CM, you can sub exu with typhon s3 and nightingale with e2 ptilopsis with module. I also used ines as my vanguard to help attack the aspect.
Cantabile makes starting times a lot easier since she gets you lots of dp when used as a fast redeploy to fuel toneswap things wich youll have to do a lot of times, common cantabile W
if you put Texas Alter S2 and Yato S2 as addition to attack the orb, you can skip the boss' teleportation thingy and deletes his health in one cannon strike X"D
In in zt-s 4 u can use virtuosa instead of ifrit ..
She will melt all those heavy enemies without taking any dmg
For ZT-S-4, Besiegers like Typhon or Totter bypasses the Taunt trolling, as their range skips the first row where all the Bubble Cellists are. Makes capping that Node so much easier.
Plopping down Eyja S3 to the right of that OP also helps w the 2 waves of 4 and 6 Cellists. If you stall the last Cellist from the 1st wave, Eyja's S3 will recharge in time for the final 6 in the 2nd wave. Typhon S3 will also make mincemeat of them, while supercharging the Node.
Your guide really help me BIG TIME last stage before reset end event and I clear it 1time
Pulling for horn is the best decision i've made in this game
for ZT-S-4 you can replace blaze with mountain, mine work perfectly fine
Using Yato alter S1M3 on the "aspect of creation" together with Exu can instant melt the boss.
Umm ZT-S-5 CM confused why after second phase boss I put Ines + behind is Texas (kyo put Myrtle and behind Gravel) and boss die but he not teleport ines but Mudrock and Texas wtf... I win in the end still why that happen.
cuz you removed boss HP too fast i guess.
There is a small animation for the boss to use TP skill, if you drain his HP too fast, he will try at 75%, before animation finish you reduce to 50% so he restard skill, etc etc
If you use Ines S2 and activate her skill then she is invisible and the boss can't target her. At least that is what make me fail ZT-S-3... If not then I don't know.

For anyone who doesn't have Horn, E2L40 Firewhistle with S1L7 works just fine as a replacement in ZT-S-4. Just drop Bagpipe in front of her for the first few enemy so she can keep shelling the shielded guys instead of meleeing the horn carrying gals. When the time comes replace with Hoshi and carry on.
for those people who have exu with S3 no Mastery to M2, just bring more dps or nuker like texalter S2 or kirin S2, or someone who can fast attack to attack the soundbooster and kill the boss even while exu is still charging.
it does break of your timing with these skills. so time it well your own.

What's a good replacement for ethan in zt-s-4? Don't have the time nor will to raise him.
EDIT: Used Lin instead and it worked great. Her shield doesn't break to the reflect damage.
in ZT-S3 i used the same setup but i dealt so much damage that first phase he got to teleport the ops only once, and phase 2 he did not had time to teleport anyone at all, use your ''disposable'' ops to hit the device as well, i used both texas and yato for it

If your Horn is lvl 30 like mine, she is too weak to kill all the enemies, either upgrade, get another heli drop to help, or borrow lvl 90
*you can put just someone like Thorn above Horns and that does the trick
The problem is without enough dps, Applepie will be too busy fighing enemies and won't hit tower before next song and enemies will overwhelm your team
i brought typhon and totter to accompany exusiai for the first stage just because theyre my fave sniper lol. overkill
Since the boss from ZT-S-3 used the splash art & ended my life points & my stage which made me fail, i decided to just ignore kyo guide & do it my way, all i did was brute force it by killing the boss so fast, using all kind of every possible fast redeploys + heledrops, & it worked, honestly just save yourself the hassle & do it this way (the ball lazer thing is necessary though)
Don't have exu. I borrowed a skalter and replaced thorns and blaze with gater S3 and mudrock with penance S3. I also found out that Vivi's S3 is really good against the boss.
