I am also in love with Chanel 22, my favourite Chanel, while I can’t do the aldehydes of number 5. I have a newer also second hand bottle and it’s great to know it’s not altered. I adore the dry down of incense towards the eye of the day, which always catches me by surprise 😍 Enjoy your treasure!
'Closer to being a grown up than i was back then' 😂. I think this is possibly the most successful bag of samples I've sent you so far. Apparently we're both getting too grown up and our tastes are starting to match. 😅 Something about those large chanel les exclusive bottles are just so pleasing and exciting. So glad i managed to get Coromandel in that size. Glad you enjoyed lyric woman too, it's a beautiful Gothic rose. 🌹
I was the same with Coromandel! 😄 I tried it in 2020 because I heard that it had a white chocolate note. When I smelled it, I thought it was Coco Mademoiselle on steroids with the patchouli. I gave the decant to my mother, but she found it too powerful so she gave it to my stepfather. It’s beautiful but totally unexpected. Maybe I should try it again too. ☀️
I was not in love with Les Indemodables despite the clarity and transparency on the percentage of naturals (4% ish) which they highlight, because their use or choices of aromachemicals did not agree with me- or at least it didn’t at the time I sampled them. I found them indescribably scratchy and many were overpowering.
Coromandel is one of the Chanel Les Exclusifs I cannot wear. The patchouli is far too strong and dominant on my skin and it also gives me a massive headache like most strong patchouli perfumes tend to do. 😢

I’ll look out for the incense, I seem to focus on the vanilla floral aspects.
@@Smurfygurly I cannot single it out except at the very end of the day maybe 12 h+ and out of the blue.. incense!

Yes we’re both almost grown up and now our tastes align 😂
Got Lyric on skin now and it’s truly a beauty! 🥀
Claire, you gave me a nice American giggle today when you exaggerated your English accent with "little nice bit of powdery-ness in there" 😆

Thanks Tracey I can see why (finally!) 😂
@@SmurfygurlyI'm so happy you were enjoying Beige and talking about it as it reminded me how much I enjoyed a sample of it. Now I have the oil 🎉💐😍

Iris pearl was also my favourite, followed by Cuir de chine, by I didn’t want to buy any in the end.
Good to know I’m not alone there! I know they’re well loved but once you’re sensitive to certain aroma chemicals you can’t help it.
What a treat! 😊👍
Thanks for watching Joanna 💖
