Well said! I hope many musicians listen and apply this advice. I am looking for music, and music related, yet am shown far more bikini shots than guitars! So musicians, when we say show us your stuff, we mean your music stuff! Sexy will get you more followers, but not more fans. A cutie with100k followers yet can't get 10k streams means you are getting it wrong, and the music you making is being buried with the wrong exposure. Better to have less followers but higher percentage of real fans, says this music fan who is there for your music. Ask yourself how far down your ig posts does someone have to scroll for get to hear what your music sounds like?

Can we talk about bots? I make a post I'm happy with, I get the hashtags right. Some big for the reach, some small to not get instantly drowned. Then I get 10s of bot comments saying "promote here". This isn't a good look imo. Should I delete them? Should I not hashtag so much? Help!
