Really good video guys, the first I've seen that gives a real picture of what it's like in reality to travel around in a camper. I like all the info on the essentials like emptying the grey water and having extra water barrels ect, the more detail the better. Its a great confidence builder for anyone who hasn't done this before but plans to! Thanks for the video. Subbed
What a great Thursday sunrise and that beach was awesome and Marley was sure enjoying it and his stick lol. The cooling vest was a new thing for me but what a good idea to get Marley cool, as well the gel mat. Must admit, I hate driving in this country never mind abroad and if I was there, I would not move, everything I need just there, except the fly's! There were some narrow roads there mind, I thought you were in someone's farm at one point lol. Got to say, worth for the lake view mind! Cheers Alan
It was a great place for a sunset. Lucy said the same about the next park up in the next video . Said she could have spent the whole time at the lake and I must agree with her. No flies as well , they were murder and driving us all nuts . I love the village roads, makes it feel more like you’re in the middle of nowhere . We bought our German Shepherd a cool coat in Spain last year, unfortunate it covered most of his body unlike Marleys which is mid length, we had some people remarking why have you got your dog in a coat in summer, when we explained how it worked they were happy in the knowledge she was cool. Enjoying the trip. Watching from wet, grey and windy north Wales, its nice to see blue skies again! I must admit I much prefer your proper campervan to that hideous RV that featured. I mean why? Its like driving a bungalow with an engine around...horrible things!

Yes they’re a bit over the top but I must admit if I was going to tour the States I’d be very tempted as it’s so well set up for them out there and the cost of fuel so low. Would you believe it was just a single bloke in It , 5 .9 miles to the gallon as well 😳

Thank you . I used to have a VW and it was great . The trouble was we couldn’t justify the difference in bang for your buck and we were adamant it had to have a toilet and shower . The same year and mileage would have been anything up to 10k more and with less room so it was a no brainer in the end. I’d love to get one as well though 😉

Hi Mike , hope you’re both well and hope the eye’s healing? We really love the camper and the only regret is we didn’t get one earlier. The best part of the trip was having Marley along , hopefully he can come next year 🤞. The channel is doing really well at the moment especially since posting the van videos . I might have to invest in a better camera soon . It’s been mayhem since this trip but has just culminated with the birth of our second grandchild, Blossom so it’s a much happier time compared to the last few weeks . I’ll tell all when I finally get round to that email I’ve been promising for 6 months 😬🙄#uselesssod lol.

I struggle to decide which of you three is the happiest traveller: Austin, Lucy or Marley! I make the following point most respectfully, but you guys remind me of types of nice people that my parents would be-friend on summer holidays, years ago. I love the way you finish one another's sentences, even Marley seems to roll in on cue lol. Amenities seem much more accessible abroad, as opposed to Britain which has rules enough to make peoples' head's spin. You'll be lucky to get anywhere near the coast in Britain, without a parking bloke. They go about like police, with little cameras on their day-glo's. Get's on my nerves. It's nice to see that not all countries have avaricious town councils. Anyway, back to my point, you guys seem like lovely folk, hope you enjoy your holiday!

Thanks Stuart . We’ve seen the fly nets for the doors but we can’t really use them with Marley as he’s in and out so often and likes to shove doors open with his paw or head lol. We will get one for when its just the two of us though. Luckily all the other windows have built in screens 👍
Marley will be spitting sand for a week. I really like the awning.. Very nice extra covered area. Wonderful trip except for discourteous neighbors and the flies... Would one of those magnetic screens work over the door when open?
Hi Max , hope the knee’s doing well. I don’t know how Marley does it, you can hear him grinding the sand in his teeth 😬. We’re going to look into a screen and someone has suggested a diy one which should be Marley proof . He tends to see screens as a challenge lol.
The knee gets better day by day.. Yes I do not expect that a mouth full of sand is very pleasant. LOL I have seen dogs run right through screens so I guess Marley would have to be a consideration.

Thank you .The 550 is a perfect size for one 👍. R2 is a satellite dome with a motorised dish inside. It was just a plain white blob when we got the van so we though we’d add some decals 👍

You can get fly nets for your door on the camper .plus you can get them for your windows .....try on Amazon.....

Yes it’s portugal 👍 but we were only there for a few days then back to Spain , France , through Belgium and on to the Nederlands 👍
