Thank you for your clear explanation of the correlations. However, I’m still unclear on the application of the point-biserial correlation. In your example, can we interpret a positive correlation to mean that the more time spent studying, the higher the likelihood of passing the exam? Also, could we use an alternative approach by comparing the mean study time of those who passed with that of those who failed, and then performing a significance test?
