    Even with a travel trailer we've driven to places we wanted to visit and parked our whole setup there. We were able to have our kitchen and bathroom available plus we could just hit the road again when we were done. Can't wait to get back out on the road!

      Right?!? I love the flexibility of the travel lifestyle!
      Hope you're able to get back out there soon! It'll be winter break before I can get back out there... but part time is better than no time!

      I live in Illinois. Both my husband and I live in Wilmington.

    Now that Passport America has more parks joined back and do one nights often on the fly or with little reservations i can see it being a benefit for your situation occasionally

      You're the best! And I love Washington State - it was my favorite when I started RV life!❤️

      In Illinois they do too. It is just my husband and I. You can park and we are happy to share what we have with you. Anytime things got rough we had someone help us. If somebody needs help. Then I want them to have help too.

    Your dog is Schnauzer our family dogs were both schnauzers when I was kid. They are the absolute best dogs. My husband and I have dog. Buster wonderful dog and I love him he is not schnauzer.

      Henry is actually a Yorkie Poo, but I often give him a schnauzer hair cut! I used to have a mini schnauzer and agree, they are awesome!

    I prefer free parking also. Don't need to pay for neighbors!

    Hi Ann,
    I just found your channel. ❤
    I am Canadian. If you are in a border state then you will not find a difference between the weather say in Niagara Falls NY and Niagara Falls Canada.
    I am going to create a TH-cam channel when I head to Nicaragua.
    Stay safe and stay sweet!! 🙏

      Yes, I agree.... I just figure the further into Canada you go, the cooler it must be - and it got so hot I figured I'd have to go deeper into Canada to get cool! I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice temperature this summer.
      Let me know when you create your channel! I'd love to know more about Nicaragua!

    How bad is the gas when traveling?

    • @PriorityFocused
      @PriorityFocused  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So it really depends...
      If I'm dealing with steep mountains, I feel like I only get 9-10 mpg, but if I'm in a fairly flat area (and this summer was mostly flat) then it's around 14 mpg, which is a dramatic difference... but I have an older vehicle (mine is a 2000) so a newer one might get better mileage depending on the make/model...

    What do you do for income ?

    • @PriorityFocused

      I'm retired from 20 years in the Navy.

    • @angelaschaefer5883
      @angelaschaefer5883 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Her pension is little more then my husbands but not much. His is $850 after he retired. Because I didn't work while he was in the Navy. He pays fee out of his pension every month. So now that he has dementia that pension will go to me. Unless I remarry at that time I thought he was worrying about nothing. That I would be fine without it. He was a lot smarter then I am and loved me enough to look out for me. When I wasn't thinking about the future. My health is good and I am 51. Work part time as Nanny. But that little bit of money will make big difference. Between me having van to live in. Or having nothing to live in.

      Thank you! I am definitely a hand/body talker! That will be difficult!
      But I do understand if it's difficult to watch - you're not the first to mention this!
