Really helpful! I’ve been manually adding fades to everyone of my drum edits. So that alone will save me so much time

I’ve had great luck with the Logic expander for tightening up toms. Much less work

Logic expander is not bad. The method in this video is good if you want to really clean up the tracks and not have any bleed issues. It would depend on the material too, if you tracked a drummer whose Tom hits weren’t consistent or very clear, you might find it hard to dial in the threshold just right. Cutting the bleed out only really takes a few minutes if you are quick with key commands and recognizing what the Tom transient look like. There is always multiple ways to do something, whatever works for you and gets the job done really :)
