adamthewoo what would you do if a llama actually hopped in the rv & said gyddeup woo lets go! (with the same enthusiasm as donkey from Shrek?) that would make one heck of daily WOOah!
The KP Show. I'm with you on that. If I had kids, this is one channel I would never be hesitant to let them watch. I've noticed that quite a few kids show up with their parents at Adam's meet-ups. TDW appeals to all age groups.
Hey Adam! Just wanted to let you know I just discovered your channels within the last couple of months and I have to tell you, they have quickly become my favorite channels! I make sure I watch your daily vlogs without fail. I skip most of my other subscriptions, but not you! I really appreciate your awesome humor and your nomadic lifestyle! You are just a cool dude and I appreciate all your hard work! Keep it up!
The cattle that LBJ had were Hereford cattle which come from Hereford in Herefordshire UK, where my Mum was born and my Grandfather had a dairy farm with just a well for water and no electricity ;). xx
I can't tell you how many times we've driven by there. Now I need to stop and see it the next time we're in Austin. Thanks Adam, another great one!! Made me tear up a little while you were on the ranch, I was a kid at the time he was President, gave me great memories of my wonderful parents. Got my WOO FIX for the day!!😀
Oh no...my daughter and I drove the back roads from Austin through Fredericksburg in 2007...and didn't stop there. Thank you again! I'll have to look up the month Lady Bird passed that year. She really lived a long time and was the one behind keeping the highways beautified with wildflowers. Definitely wide open spaces out there. I wasn't wild about driving the miles of hills...once you get pass the flatland.
One time we where at a swimming hole near Medina lake on a large ranch, the owners where friends so I had verbal permission to swim anytime. We where chased into a large oak tree by a giant Brahman bull over 2000 lbs and he was very upset for some reason lol. Highly terrifying. At dark after several hours he got bored and left.
one of the cool things I learned when I went to the Ranch 2 years ago was that. The day President Kennedy was killed, Kennedy, LBJ and their wives were flying to the ranch to eat dinner and spend a few days there. after the rally in Dallas.. Sadly that afternoon history changed forever, and they didn't make it there.. But That yellow phone in the kitchen at the LBJ ranch was the 1st phone to be contacted before the united states would be told Kennedy died, Secret Service called from the hospital in Dallas to the LBJ ranch, to put the ranch in lock down, and to also have Johnson's family bible flown to Dallas as fast as they could. im not sure if he got his family bible in time, before he was flown to d.c. and was sworn in as president on air force 1. but a little bit of cool history
I believe that "waterfall crossing" is what's called a "ford." There's a ford down in Cascade Park in Elyria, Ohio just like that & cars can cross to the other side of the park as long as the water isn't above a certain height. It's really cool.
I've actually driven across that low water crossing/dam/bridge in a 1967 Lincoln Continental with the LBJ State Park superintendent during a BBQ at the LBJ Ranch a few years ago. It was as cool as you'd think.
I love your daily blogs. I love seeing parts of America I know I won't be able to get to. This one with all of the former Presidential spots was particularly interesting. Thank you for doing what you do, every day.
Omg the Amphicar! My mom always wanted one of those as a teen. Growing up my grandparents had a house on a lake. The house is right by the beach. I'll never forget when this friend of my parents came down the road & just kept driving right into the lake just to hear the gasps & screams of the Memorial Day weekend crowds of people. The home owners association put up parking baracades soon afterwards LOL.
Great video. Here in Vermont we have two presidential homes. One in Plymouth notch, Calvin Coolidge and in Fairfield, Chester A. Arthurs. If you come up here you should check them out as well as Hildene in Manchester, where Robert Todd Lincoln lived.
Adam you know why your infactuated with that waterfall? it probably reminds you of the backlot tour trams from i forgot one of the movie special effect parks i believe it was universal studios back in the days.
I believe it was on the tram tour at Universal Studios Hollywood. Your tram would drive thru the lake and the water would part reminiscent of the scene from "The Ten Commandments."
Adam! I want to make a case for the Odessa/Midland area. We are on I-20 in between DFW and El Paso. We Have: A Stonehenge replica A meteor crater The a museum for the office of the president A Petroleum Museum Jack Rabbit Statues all around town Baby Jessica fell down the well here! Friday Night Lights (book and movie) was about our high school football team! Pumpjacks, mesquite and desolation! AND its (sort of) on the way to Marfa Tx which is crazy cool too!
WOW Adam! You are getting into very interesting places!!! Thank you for this blog, I never knew there was an Air Force "One-Half" if it wasn't by you :) Keep up the good work buddy! (I meant the good travel, LOL)
it's pronounced loo kin bac Texas and the very famous Willie Nelson Waylon Jennings song Let's go to Luckenbac Texas in the mid 70s put this place on the map, I hope you make it to Del Rio and Amistad lake and the huge Dam ,take hyw 90 west out of Del Rio and stop at Langtry but be shure large Marge is gased up because it's a long way between gas stations I can't stress enough how magnificent the scenery is out that way ,good drone footage, Del Rio is rich in culture and history, Wolfman Jack broadcast from a radio station there on the Mexican border that reached far and wide, the Brinkley house is also very intersting ,they guy was known for using goat glands for medicinal porpoises Del Rio has some insane Mexican food, try Memos and Don Marcelenos and many many good steak houses too ,it's a neat town ,easy to get around in and they have a big Wal Mart and truck stop too lake Amistad is the 3rd largest man made lake in the US in believe.
The bar reminds me of Moonshine Gulch out in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Once the weather gets nice, ya need to head up to the Midwest. You won't be disappointed.
Love your videos Adam! The humor! The animals! The crazy voices! The history! It all works the magic of The Woo! Thanks for all your hard work just to make us smile! Glad Jacob wasn't there to see the possum though! No telling how it would have affected him! I know it made me jump!
There is a drive across like that where I live. Goes across meridian creek in Bosque County. It’s on old Parks ranch, but has a county road going through it. Raised my son fishing there. Adam if you are ever in Bosque County TX. There are some interesting sites - like the old Rock church that to this day is visited by people from all around the world.
Aww home sweet home I love it here in Texas I can literally go out and lay down in the middle of the road and be hours before somebody drives down the road. So he wasn’t playing about him being alone out there
Did I see Jacob's suitcase pet? Low-water fords or bridges is pretty common in agriculture. They allow for minimal wash-out and are cheaper to construct than an actual bridge.
Super vlog!! Texas is an amazing state!! Thankful that there isn't anymore barbecue because I think I gained 10 pounds!! You look great in yellow!! Enjoy your weekend Adam!! You are the best!!
Let's go to Luckenbach, Texas with Waylon and Willie and the boys!

The Llama didn't want to tag along

adamthewoo what would you do if a llama actually hopped in the rv & said gyddeup woo lets go! (with the same enthusiasm as donkey from Shrek?) that would make one heck of daily WOOah!
adamthewoo meh...llamas spit anyways...would have been messy
I agree the spitting is gross & not needed, but they're pretty cool otherwise.
adamthewoo He wasn't "Rinkin" it.
I love how he never says bad words
The KP Show. I'm with you on that. If I had kids, this is one channel I would never be hesitant to let them watch. I've noticed that quite a few kids show up with their parents at Adam's meet-ups. TDW appeals to all age groups.
Such a pleasure not to have to listen to a curse word every other word!!
So true!
Adam, your historical research and narrations are always excellent. Thank you for devoting such effort to your audience. Well done.
Texas is fascinating. Just....space everywhere. So big. I could never get used to living there though. Great show Adam.
I love when you cover historical figures like this. I find these kinds of subjects endlessly fascinating. 😊
Hey Adam! Just wanted to let you know I just discovered your channels within the last couple of months and I have to tell you, they have quickly become my favorite channels! The cattle that LBJ had were Hereford cattle which come from Hereford in Herefordshire UK, where my Mum was born and my Grandfather had a dairy farm with just a well for water and no electricity ;). xx
"LUKE" IN Bach
Luke is in the creek.
I can't tell you how many times we've driven by there. Now I need to stop and see it the next time we're in Austin. Thanks Adam, another great one!! Thanks for the tour of the LBJ Ranch. I really appreciate your great narrations too. That river crossing looked like fun!
Oh no...my daughter and I drove the back roads from Austin through Fredericksburg in 2007...and didn't stop there. Thank you again! I'll have to look up the month Lady Bird passed that year. I've actually driven across that low water crossing/dam/bridge in a 1967 Lincoln Continental with the LBJ State Park superintendent during a BBQ at the LBJ Ranch a few years ago. It was as cool as you'd think.

I'm sure you're not referring to TDW lol.
it's pronounced loo kin bac Texas and the very famous Willie Nelson Waylon Jennings song Let's go to Luckenbac Texas in the mid 70s put this place on the map, I hope you make it to Del Rio and Amistad lake and the huge Dam ,take hyw 90 west out of Del Rio and stop at Langtry but be shure large Marge is gased up because it's a long way between gas stations I can't stress enough how magnificent the scenery is out that way ,good drone footage, Del Rio is rich in culture and history, Wolfman Jack broadcast from a radio station there on the Mexican border that reached far and wide, the Brinkley house is also very intersting ,they guy was known for using goat glands for medicinal porpoises Del Rio has some insane Mexican food, try Memos and Don Marcelenos and many many good steak houses too ,it's a neat town ,easy to get around in and they have a big Wal Mart and truck stop too lake Amistad is the 3rd largest man made lake in the US in believe.
I think, perhaps, Adam is too young and too Punk to be aware of the song and the Willie & Waylon connection to the town.
Yes i think you are right lol
Hope he goes there..sounds interesting.
i think you may be right
The bar reminds me of Moonshine Gulch out in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Once the weather gets nice, ya need to head up to the Midwest. You won't be disappointed.
Great blog Adam, very interesting !
Enjoyed the video. Went thru that area 30 years ago. I guess it's time for another trip to Texas.

Love your videos Adam! The humor! The animals! The crazy voices! The history! It all works the magic of The Woo! Thanks for all your hard work just to make us smile! Glad Jacob wasn't there to see the possum though! No telling how it would have affected him! I know it made me jump!

Wishing you safe travels. One Day hope to see you here in Oklahoma. Your videos are always WooFresh.
I wonder how much trouble they have keeping the grass green by the grave stone. You know that large quantities of urine will kill the grass.

Did I see Jacob's suitcase pet? Low-water fords or bridges is pretty common in agriculture. They allow for minimal wash-out and are cheaper to construct than an actual bridge.
I love woo history tours.
