I'm just gonna get out in front of this because I forgot to add an annotation when editing: I know the spell is cast on the necklace itself, but y'know, she's wearing the necklace at all times so it may as well have been cast on her. If I turn into a disembodied heart, I think whatever magical spells I had on the clothes I was wearing at the time should transfer over to me. That is all :)

@@liamurness302 I don’t think so, dust and happy thoughts are part of the Peter Pan universe as necessary for flight. I know SquareEnix respects the rules of the stories included in the game. Therefore that scene in the game needs to be cut out in order for Sora to die as Ticktock’s meal.

Thinking about this, if Donald wasn't such a dick to Riku and did let him o the Gummi Ship, his turn to the darkness most likely would be delayed until Hollow Bastion if we want the plot structure to be somewhat untouched (though like, half of Monstro would be pointless and the Parasite Cage would be spared). If we want to go all the way with Riku getting accepted, then:
-his ties to the darkness would be very minor, only being a visit from cloaked Ansem at that point
-Riku's Keyblade would be Sora's Kingdom Key because of lacking the "Anti-Keyblade" darkness eviction notice (oh, and Sora would be Keyblade-less, I guess)
-his entire story route in COM would be less focused on getting over the darkness (as he'd most likely fail to manifest Soul Eater) and he'd propably just focus on finding Sora
-skipping towards the events of 358/2 days, because of not having power over the darkness to access his Ansem transformation, he'd fail to defeat Roxas and take him to sim-Twilight Town. That would cause Sora's awakening to be prompted a near failure until DiZ does his "Anti-Nobody" comments at Roxas at best, and Sora would just be forever asleep in his pod as Roxas hangs around Twilight Town, living out his own life at worst
-assuming Sora would awaken in time for KH2, there'd be no emotional scene with Sora finding out that Riku looks like Ansem
-Repliku will not exist due to Vexen not finding Riku's ties to the darkness note-worthy

If Dark Riku no longer exists, one of either Demyx or Vexen would never be benched, and considering Vexen's character of becoming a pseudo-Ienzo while betraying the True Org., it means we'd be presented with more Dance Water Dance's...

It's a fact that Namine looks a little like Sora; his body was used to create Namine (Secret Ansem Report 12, KH2). Their faces look identical, but Namine's body is pretty different from Sora. She's got little toothpick fingers while Sora has massive low-polygon early PS2 square fingers. So because of that, I've always had the assumption that Namine looked 100% like Sora until he actually got his body back when Kairi hugged his heartless. When that happened, Namine's body morphed to resemble more like Kairi's since she was born from her heart. In a way, she looks like a combination of both characters, like she's her daughter.
I say this because if Aqua was in Sora's place then for the brief period, Namine (whose name means "wave" which is an aquatic thing fun fact) would look like the tall blueberry lady, but then morph down to Kairi's size and bodytype while retaining Aqua's face. And she'd probably look like if Aqua and Kairi somehow had a daughter, I guess.
By the way: That first fact I mentioned technically means Namine is canonically a trans character. Some people might like that.

4:16 I think it'd be hilarious if Beast frees the remaining Dalmatians by ripping the chests holding them in half, just to see if Belle was hidden in one of them, because he's desperate, he's been through a lot, he just warped through Gummi Space from a world that presumably doesn't exist anymore using pure angst, I think he'd be _just_ mentally exhausted enough to deceive himself into thinking Belle might be in one of these chests that, realistically, would be too small to contain her.
I love how all the rest of March Caprice (which Caprice apparently means sudden change of mind???) have serious sounding titles for their videos, but then yours (in the list at least) is literally just "yo what if this random as fuck crocodile ate him"

The image of Quaax as a duck got me thinking, how does a Nobody of an animal person work? Scar becomes a Heartless in KH2 but keeps his original form, the only change is the fact he can use magic now. Wouldn't that mean he also creates a Nobody? If so, then would the Nobody be a lion, anthro lion, or human version of Scar? I imagine it would be hard to find an Organization cloak for a 4 legged animal, also it would look ridiculous.

I thought you were going to say Sora would be inside the crocodile and have to find his way out like in Monstro, but no Sora just straight up dies. I love how you took it really seriously and really tried to come up with what would happen if Sora died! I think Riku would be like, "Oh man this went too far!" and be really depressed because his two closest friends are dead/in a comma, and his grief would make it easier for Ansem to manipulate him.
I like that you chose the crocodile to be the thing that kills Sora because there are lots of parts where Sora could have died, but the crocodile is the funniest! I hope you keep going with the Crocodile Timeline! We have to know how/if Sora comes back from the Final World! And Quaax!

A little fix at the end, Aqua would get them kicked out her house before turning it back to Land of Departure. It's an anti-Darkness mechanism that keeps Ventus safe, so she wouldn't revert it back while some squatters are inside.
I just like to imagine the organization members being transported to random rooms in the Land of Departure and being really confused.
I didn’t think about that. This doesn’t assume she would know that the organization is in there tho, but it isn’t too hard to imagine a scenario where she figures it out.

If Quaax joined the organization (which I don’t see why she wouldn’t, assuming she doesn’t have any memories like Roxes), then there would still be a Xion (whose name would still be Xion, sense “Xion” is canonically an acronym of “No. i” with en “X”, and I don’t see why that would be different in this timeline). Since there’s no reason why Kairi would be among the most special people to Aqua (no offense), Xion would probably look like either Tara or Ventis (and would thus be a male), but with black hair.
While it’s debatable whether or not Axle befriended Roxas because he looks like Ventis, he seems like the kind of guy to hang out with a Newbi who’s having a hard time, so he could potentially befriend (and be shipped with) Quaax.
While I think Aqua and Kairi going through Castle Oblivion would be interesting story wise, it would be hard to see why Aqua wouldn’t just un-oblivion the castle, unless of course she wanted Kairi Donald and Goofy to play the card game she designed. Them going through a un-oblivioned could also be interesting tho, since it would be interesting to see how organization XIII adjusts to the change in architecture, and I’m sure if Castle Oblivion and the wizard tower could both be bigger on the inside then surely the Land of Departure could also be a tardis. Not sure what they would do about the Ven, I am sure if Xemnas was there that it would be like: “Secure that body at all cost!” “But y tho?” “Just do it!” Since it’s implied he has some of Tara’s attachments from that scene he has with Aqua’s Aamir, but otherwise they would probably just leave him alone. Not that it matters that much, sense Aqua probably can’t return Ven’s heart to his body while it’s in the Final World, so Ven would still be in a coma.
Also, sense a blonde person was not in Aqua‘s heart when she became heartless (for all we know), Namine would have blue hair, caz lol.

I absolutely love 18:55-19:30, quaax and the part with kairi and riku-- and I love the idea of kairi learning from aqua and becoming a keyblade master. I just love seeing those two together in general and I wish I could see them traveling the worlds in place of sora.

Quaax's Xion is just Terra and Ventus' unholy fusion.
Alternatively, if Kairi did die when Sora was killed, Ansem would have to go look for the new Heart that carries Kairi's light, and he and Maleficent would have to do a "Whoa, time out!" on the Heartless from destroying the worlds indiscriminately since they have no idea where to look. (Maybe. How did they figure out who the Princesses were? Ansem the Wise somehow figured it out on his own, but we never learned how that worked...) And then Maleficent immolated Captain Hook for killing the one person they needed alive.
And some aspect of Xehanort would be going, "Aw, nuts. There goes my plan to get ahold of the Dandelion kid for some reason. Now his heart is dead and I still can't find the body!
Now, what would happen if Scar's random roar didn't stop the hyenas from eating Sora, Donald and Goofy in Pride Lands?
To answer your question:
Ansem the Wise was studying Hearts and their potential for Darkness in hopes of using that knowledge to keep Radiant Garden's future bright, so he would've noticed if anyone he was studying or had extended contact with had none.
"Dreams hold our memories. Sleep holds our dreams. And Darkness-it holds our sleep." -Ansem SoD in DDD.
Maleficent has power over sleep, a subset of Darkness. She's been shown to be able to influence one's inner Darkness such as when she manipulated Terra to "steal Aurora's Heart" and all those times she tempered Riku's Darkness in KH1. Those two are atypical for having exceptional levels of Darkness which grants Maleficent greater potential for influence but it still stands to reason that through this ability she should have no issue sensing if a "nearby" Heart contains no Darkness at all.
Considering we see Elsa and Anna be "The Next 7 lights" in KH3, I assume that they'd be next in line after Kairi and Ansem and co have to go to Arendelle and grab one of them.

@@Powerman293 Excluding Kairi for the sake of this scenario the New Seven Hearts we know of in the order Sora encountered them are Rapunzel, Elsa, and Anna. Kairi's Light could potentially go to any of those 3, any of the 3 that are New Hearts that haven't been revealed yet, or even an entirely different 7th person who never became a New Heart in the actual continuity because Kairi still remains a Princess of Heart.
I suppose it's also possible that it could go to none of the people who gained the Heart of a Princess after KH1 (or who would've if the Light had moved on from Kairi at the end like the others) because of how early in the story Kairi's Light had to be passed on in this hypothetical. Neverland was pretty late in the game to be sure, but any difference in timing might potentially have an influence on who the Light passes to.

What if Xemnas and Ansem (Seeker of Darkness) swapped places?. Example, Xemnas is in KH1 and Ansem is in KH2 and leader of Organization XIII.
I think a more simple (and clean) version of this concept might have been 'What if Kairi never used the power of hugging to return Sora from heartless form' but it admittedly misses too many good crocodile jokes.
That would also make Sora returning easier since assuming Donald zaps heartless Sora to death all that would be needed for Sora to return is Roxas dying so im assuming instead of putting Roxas into data twilight town Riku just chokes a bitch out.
Actually wait Roxas would have all his memories wouldn't he? And since I doubt Sora would want to team up with a person that a quick fact check would show is the nobody of the guy that possesed Riku. So sora Roxas joins back up with aqua and the gang as just nobody Sora questioning why becoming a nobody came with a hair change. Aqua would probably put two and two together so she'd take Sora to castle oblivion so she can bring his heart to Ven's body.
Meanwhile Sora x would probably regrow a heart pretty quickly thanks to Sora being real good at forging connections or realizing his heartless is dead he commits recompletion by sharp pointy object.
I thoroughly enjoyed that what if scenario. Quaax made me chuckle. I hope you make more of these!
It's kind of weird to think that Captain Hook is probably the Disney Villain that was the closest to killing Sora.

This is one of the most powerful and incredible Kingdom Hearts videos I've watched in a few months.
Per union cross, he'd either be transformed into a dream eater, or reincarnated.
I have similarly had thought experiments about different realities in which he is replaced with someone else entirely and to my knowledge it would flip the games so far on their head that it goes into heavy speculation territory shortly after or during castle oblivion.
One thing I like about you is that you don’t outright ignore the Disney stuff like so many others do.

There’s been enemies capable of swallowing Sora whole before, the jester and ghost dream eaters come to mind. I feel like if the crocodile swallowed Sora he could easily fight his way out of the crocodile’s belly. It’s bit more cramped in the crocodile’s belly compared to something like Monstro but it’s a Disney game. Cartoony stuff is going to happen.

also, aqua would probably notice that ansem is the heartless of terra-xehanort, so there'd probably be some stuff with that, some cool interesting moments and all that, with her being all sad and wanting him to give terra's heart back and stuff, and being more motivated to defeat ansem than sora already was.

In Kingdom Hearts, you can learn to channel darkness instead of having it consume you. Old Xehanort does that. Riku learn how to do it from Maleficent and Ansem, Seeker of Darkness.
I can’t wait for the Kingdom Hearts spin off game where we get to play as Quaax for the entire thing. They were my favorite character from 2.

i think another interesting possiblity regarding kairis heart is that if the crocodile just straight up eats it, wendy would probably take her place as a princess of heart, seeing as she was so close to being one in the first place and everyone even expected her to be one before the whole kairi thing, if the pure hearts thing is right then a new one wouldve probably been chosen and it most likely wouldve been her seeing frozen or tangled wasnt created yet of course
