Castle museum, Birr (музей при замке в Бирре)

The castle grounds in Birr also house the Irish Center for the History of Science, a museum dedicated to Irish scientists of the past.
It spans two floors and is filled with information about the history of the castle, with an emphasis on the great telescope - Parsons' Leviathan.
This is really interesting because the museum displays equipment used in the second half of the 19th century.
На территории замка в городе Бирр также расположен Ирландский центр истории науки - музей, посвящённый ирландским учёным прошлого.
Он занимает два этажа и наполнен информацией об истории замка с акцентом на великий телескоп - "Левиафан Парсонсов".
