You are a master violin maker that is for sure. It is just too bad that Strad didn't have Video equipment and share his secrets. Thank you for sharing your discoveries and secrets. I too am a self taught Violin maker, no one taught me I just read and study what others have said works and then applied and tested it for my self. The only difference is that I make my Violins out of Carbon Fiber. I have watched many of your Videos and some of your knowledge is transferable to my Carbon fiber instruments. I plan to watch everyone of your videos and listen to every word that comes out of your mouth carefully. LOL I have made about 70 Violins so far and many professionals make their livings playing my instruments. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these Videos.
Thank you Mr. Westerlund. You are great. Your violins and work is wonderful. I appreciate your knowledge. I am going to make my 1th violin under your instruction. As I play violin I understood everything you explained. You are helping a lot. Thank you maestro.
Thank you Mr. Westerlund for your unselfishness in sharing your violin making technique. I am a retiree and embarking on making my very first violin. I am absolutely sure I will benefit a lot from your videos !
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’m a retired cabinetmaker/joiner and have taken to violin making. So I’m hungry for information to help improve my ability to make good sounding instruments. Thank you again looking forward to your future videos.
Oh my God, your youtube channel is a pure treasure mine. Thank you much appreciated for your taking all this long time to make those precious videos Sir. I schedule to watch all those videos very carefully and with the patient.
Salve! I m flute maker too :) I'm maked Native American Style Flutes. Now I'm studying to make my first violin, ou it's can be a cello, with Brazilian wood, because it's more cheap.
Hej Peter.
I have a feeling that this series will be a treasure-trove. Thank you Maestro!
