- This is classic example to get your potato cut or slice with the benriner as the blade is sharp and durable and you can also use 3 piece of Julian knife to make it all size but to my opinion I think the fine knife may not be so good as it bring the content goes too crushy.

The SUPER BENRINER Japanese Mandolin is suited to any garnishes you want if you are looking for a reliable Mandoline slicer with
a no-nonsense product design.
This might be a good choice for those who want to experience a top-quality Japanese Mandoline.
This vegetable slicer comes with durable two-part attachments rather than lots of unnecessary attachments. There are three sizes
of durable non-resharpening Julienne blades that always stay sharp.
The slicer also has a good grip for your finger protector, which is important because ensuring your fingers' safety is the top
the concern in designing any mandoline.
This product is useful for when I am looking for a mandoline slicer without ten bulky pieces of attachments and a built-in receiving
tray. This product is more compact, so I can wash or carry it anywhere I like.

You placed your fingers multiple times close to the blade to fiddle with the device. It is a miracle you didn't slice your fingers on camera.
thank you for sharing the demo cuts with the benriner, it was a regret purchase for me
if you ever do another mandoline demonstration I'd love to see you try out the kyocera slicers
All I needed to know was where/how to add the additional blades.
But yes there’s a lot of fidgeting happening here
Danger mandonin! Borner is the best.
Contrary to others, I think this video is useful. I have a benriner mandoline and I have a similar experience as your, it doesn't cut as easily as I would like to and not all combinations of julienne blades/vegetables are suitable.
I agree with you. I think it's hard to understand what the demonstrator's struggle until you've tried out this mandoline yourself. I paid $50 for mine but it has trouble dicing onions and shredding vegetables with the julienne blades
I would happily nominate you for TH-cam's most disturbing video!
Useless video . . . it gives no idea of what comes out of the slicer and the operator doesn't seem to know what he/she's doing!
Useless video. Operator doesn't seem to know how to use a mandoline and you can't see any sliced veg emerging!
Pete M @ You're not wrong
please be careful
I just wasted a few minutes of my time.
