Helen, I was diagnosed with adhd primarily inattentive type at 42 years old. It was cathartic but difficult thinking about what could have been, if I was diagnosed earlier. I’ve also struggled with depression and anxiety for as long as I can remember. I’m so proud of you for sharing the parts of your journey with your friends, family, and fans. Removing the stigma surrounding mental health issues is a huge lifelong priority for me. We would never think less of a person because of a physical disease, so why do we (the proverbial we) do so surrounding mental health or mental illness? You are an amazing and beautiful human being, I know that sharing this part of yourself is not always easy; but know you are being heard and making a positive impact on others who are struggling. You are a light in the dark for many people! ❤️
As a fellow adult diagnosed ADHD 😅, I have realized that a planner is an accessibility aid for me. I need a big chunky planner with all my lists, a detailed schedule, goals, tasks, reminders, etc etc. LOVE your tracking idea for specific symptoms and notes about treatment. I'm inspired.
Wow, I’ve always found it so difficult to articulate why my journals and planners are so important to me as a neurodivergent person. But of course, it’s an accessibility aid!
for the my 100 page, i chose to replace a typical gratitude journal (which never really worked for me) with a page that says "sometimes, good things happen." whenever something goes well or a special event brings me joy, i write it down and the date it happened. hoping i can make it to 100 this year !
Hi Helen. I appreciate your opening up on certain topics, but really applaud you setting boundaries. Good for you. On another note I LOVE that fitness vinyl-you have given me a lot of ideas for a fitness journal. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing so much vulnerability with us, Helen. You gave me some great ideas for my med tracking as well as “bad habits”. I also love the idea of the private journal.
I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 24 (4 years ago) and autism this year at 28. It’s been really hard grappling with what could have happened if someone had noticed these things sooner. And there are a LOT of reasons that my parents wouldn’t have noticed (my dad’s ADHD so a lot of these things are normal for him, I was socialized to be a girl and girls “didn’t have ADHD” when I was a kid, I’m fairly low support needs, etc.). But planners and stationery and fountain pens are my lifeline. Not only is stationery fun and one of my special interests, but it helps me stay organized when ADHD runs rampant. Shops like yours have products that help me stay engaged with the hobby consistently. Thank you for talking about mental health and doing what you do ❤
I had to pull out my Hobo Weeks as I watched this. I love this little planner but the past few years I have changed my mind so much with how to use it. But I always end up repurposing it in some way. Thank you for being so open about your mental health issues. Obviously you don't need to share everything. But there are so many of us out here who also struggle so it's nice to not be alone.
I am sending you so much love. I am 32 and was diagnosed ADHD and OCD this year. It has been a ride. You are not alone dear friend and I commend you for being open and also pushing through your anxiety and shame around the feelings of your medication and habits here. I think you are helping others. BUT don't feel bad for NOT sharing things either. Don't feel bad if you decide to keep things to yourself
Helen thank you for sharing your thoughts & set up of 2025 Health planner . Totally grateful I love the set up Beautifully done ☺️ the sticker release paper in the back of the planner brilliant ! I definitely need to structured and organize this way for this upcoming coming year lots of new changes. This for me will be a first to have different planners for all the things ! Can’t wait 🎉 also ordering all the necessary stickers and planner kits . Hope everyone here has a wonderful day!
That's great that you are being so open. As a fellow ADHDer, I understand the struggle. For your medication, you might want to invest in a pill box. Therefore you won't accidentally take two doses. If the section in the pill. box is empty, then you have already taken that dose. You are doing amazingly!
I love that you’re being so open about this, but still respecting your need to be private about things. I love that you recognise that there are shameful and awful feelings about some things and I think even just saying that really gets the conversation started, how shame plays such a huge part of mental health issues. Also, your planner looks amazing and I hope it works really well for you ❤
Helen, I appreciate your openness and respect your boundaries about what you don't want to share. I love that you are taking care of yourself that way. I love the look of your 2023 Weeks, though it ultimately didn't work for you. You have a great style, whatever planner you use. I use the Weeks as my main planner so I enjoyed seeing how you plan to use it for 2025.
I agree that there is not enough space with the weeks planner. Getting back into journaling and using planners, I didn’t want to invest in a 2024 Cousin for the remainder of the year so I got out my Midori Travelers Notebook and bought some inserts, one of which is a weekly (very similar to Hobonichi ) weekly. I use the right side for a running list that gets carried over day by day and the weekly side to highlight the appts I have that day. It is very brass tacks for me. What i like about the TN is I can add additional inserts for things like journaling, projects planning pages, and doodling and so I have everything all in one. I will invest in a 2025 Cousin and see if that will be a good sub for the TN but so far, with all the inserts, I am loving the TN (including the weekly). Love your channel!
Your monthly example of bad habit-- genius. I'm going to copy that in my Weeks. (I'll be using mine for budgeting and finances, and one of the things I want to track is my shopping bad habits.)
Wow, AND I love that My 100 idea. Also might adopt that for my budgeting Weeks (instead of my 100 runs, it could be my 100 wins/ savings/ best purchases).
Same! I'm using my 2025 Weeks for health and fitness, which includes physical and mental health tracking. I'm definitely going to be logging my impulse spending as part of that, since it's such a major coping mechanism for me. 🫠
Another ADHD girlie checking in! I was diagnosed in the 80s as hyperactive and naughty, but last year I got my official diagnosis with adult ADHD and was finally able to have medication. What a difference! I feel my brain slowing down and finally having a chance to *breathe* lol. It also helped with the naughty ADHD masking itself making me think I have other things wrong with me! On a side note (nail tech of nearly 30 years hat on!) - your nails aren't weak from having them done - that's a health thing. ADHD meds can make them grow weaker 😊 having them done will keep them safe and strong. Make sure you make time in your self care to get them done every 2 to 3 weeks. Oh also ask your nail tech to use a rubber base or builder on them to help them be nice and strong.
I think people have forgotten that their whole lives don't need to be documented on the internet and it is indeed ok and even proper/expected to have the need for privacy over your personal lives.
You have no idea HOW MUCH THIS WEEKLY SETup MEANS TO ME and HOW much HAPPINESS I feel....and a little teary...caz you know...but I have fought hard this year and am about 90% of days free of my bad habit...75 Hard which I am documenting on @thebalancedplanner channel is absolutely making a difference once again...this time I have added back sugar but doing a intermittent fasting window 18 hours eating window 2-8 pm...you wouldn't believe that closing down the 9 pm to midnight window and going to bed 10:30 pm (not saying I fall asleep then!) has incredibly eliminated my bad habit. With my mom's downhill slide this year...I kind felt like I downward slid to from Jan-June until I started the 31 day journal prompt challenge with the Avec on my channel. Your WRITING PROMPTS SAVED ME! It was the start of it all...thank you so much! I was wondering as a have the MEGA WEEKS and LOVE LOVE all your ideas...I used to run half marathons trail races one time in back to back weekends...and love your idea of the 100 runs...also, starting to get random here (ADHD) would you consider a BAD HABIT BUSTING award sticker for the MONTHLY calendar !?! Lots of LOVE...here in Blaine not far from you at my parents...and the weather ugh wow...a LOT of rain! It was pouring yesterday! Your stationery art extraordinaire saved me....jenean
I feel like I'm always struggling to keep up with my life and being organized is a goal every single year. The planners I'll be using in 2025 just arrived and I feel very inspired by your videos to set up everything. Thanks for sharing your experience and plans!
Fellow ADHDer and didn’t get diagnosed until my mid-thirties and my second baby. My whole world fell apart but after some grieving, I found resources, help and self acceptance. It gets better, Promise. Thanks for being so honest
Every sunday i get so excited to watch your videos. You're the only channel I have notifications on for. And this upload is extra special, because your planner setup videos are my favorite videos of the year!! Much love
First - your planner looks wonderful. Second - you made me laugh. I, too, feel my feelings and my life is also life-ing. 🤣 That entry is exactly what I feel like when I purposely sit down to journal! Good luck with the Weeks. I heard once that it's what you do 80% of the time that forms who you are, so maybe your goal can be to make it to September. :)
Thank you Helen! Im using my weeks as a combo book/media and health journal. Symptoms on the yearly, reading log on the monthly, spending, quick line about my day on the left side of the weekly, and then food, habits and media consumption on the right side weekly. Back in the notes ive got a page per month to put book covers and then a page per month for something but not sure what yet lol.
When I was on ADHD meds, I found medication bottles with timers on them super helpful. The timer resets whenever it's opened, so it's very easy to see when you last took your meds. Helped me so much with keeping up with if I had already taken my dose for the day etc. I'm not currently on meds, but if I ever take them again, I would 100% use that as a tool again. I really appreciate you sharing your ADHD journey and how that affects your planning etc. My Hobonichi Cousin is the first planner that has really worked for me. I love having space to write throughout the day, helps me be more aware of how I'm spending my time and keeping on track with what I'm doing each day. And I can easily journal about what happened that day or any mental stuff I'm dealing with. I'm on track to have a fully complete planner by the end of the year! Very proud of having written every day. :)
I need that envelope . . . and that “recharge” sticker!! After decades (literally) of planner trials and life changes, the Weeks is the best for my life and personality. The problem is me and being consistent in usage 🙄 - definitely one of my bad habits! Helen’s products are my reward - such a joy to see and use. Her gentle humor is a boost - especially when tracking “ugh/argh” events. I’ll be setting up my Weeks (I use 2) this week. Thanks for sharing your struggle - so many of us are right there with you.
A get so much joy and inspiration out of watching your videos. I am new to journaling and new to the Hobonichi weeks and cousin. I have purchased both in the hope that it will go some way to help me handle going through the menopause, which brings a whole set of challenges both mental and physical. Listening to you share your challenges and seeing the support from the community that everyone gives you and each other is very heart warming. Thank you for all you do and please keep up the great work❤❤. .
Thank you so much for sharing! I bought the Paysanne Blossom weeks too (something about the delicate hand-drawn flowers and strawberries felt retro/vintage and nourishing~ and the handfeel of the Tana Lawn material is so nice) . I had vague ideas of either meal planning for my kid or health & wellness planning for myself and your video inspired a lot of thought... Thank you❤
I wanted to do a separate journal for my health stuff, but didn't want a full planner, so I got the SI N1 horizontal booklet set. I'll see how it works out this coming year.
One suggestion - I’ve been reframing ‘bad habits’ into ‘new habits’ or ‘improvements’. I also use a tick instead of a cross (but a cross looks good aesthetically so im undecided!). It’s a small thing, but the dopamine hit for ‘I got to tick off a positive thing’ has increased a bit!
Thank you! I'm using the Weeks as an analog companion to my digital-forward work planning. I was planning to use the annual index to track days I'm in office vs. remote and number of hours worked. I had no idea what to do with the top portion. LOVE the idea of a total & avg by month, so I'll be doing that next year!
I was diagnosed 2 years ago at age 54… I didn’t know it could be ADHD. Your videos are helping me keep better track of what I need to get done, so I don’t stress as much. ❤ very relaxing videos 🌻
Helen thank you for being willing to share YOU with us. I’m so happy you have found a place to also keep your most personal inner thoughts safe. I love that idea as and although I don’t share on social media I don’t always want an option for others (co-workers, friends, family) to see all my thoughts.
Hi Helen! I 💜 your weeks setup. I also have struggled with the weeks but want to make it work. I chose the A5 HON this year, but now I'm reconsidering 😂 Thanks again for talking about your ADHD. It helps me 😊 It makes me realize i do the same things or think the same way & maybe I'm not so weird. Happy Sunday!
Dr Potato made me smile :) thanks for sharing this! I’m definitely doing a health and fitness (got the Paddington weeks for it!) and I really like the way you’re personally using it. I have a few mental health conditions and autism and I was thinking of having the weeks as the one I could share with professionals/ psychologist and I was going to have a separate one to have more notes/ vents/ goals/ food diary. I love your cute designs and this video was super helpful 😊
I love that you are so ambitious and trying to make the Hobonichi Weeks work! I think that making the Hobonichi Week specifically for mental health and fitness is perfect! I'll be following you on this journey ❤
I love this. This inspired me to get a weeks to track my health stuff this year. In March I’ll be two years post-chemo and one of my 2025 goals is to get myself back to the health journey I was on prior to my cancer diagnosis (I swam nearly 150 miles the year prior, for example!) I was struggling with how to do it in my everyday planner but since this has become kind of its own personal project, I think it needs and deserves its own space. Like you mentioned I think it’ll help me see my progress better.
I've been using the sticker release trick for awhile with my Leuchtturm B6+ and my pocket Moleskine... only I put it in the front because that's where those extra pages are. Initially I did it for "stickers on the go" but it looks so pretty... so I never use it. 🤭 I just transfer it from book to book... at this point it's a decorative dashboard 😆
Love love love the cover and the way you are going to be using the Weeks in 2025, Baby Bear. Sooooo looking forward to the little envelope to hold the weeks kits. It looks DA BOMB! Love you!!!
This video was so helpful! Thank you so much! I’ve been struggling with the weeks as well and use mine for health/fitness too! Thank you for sharing! ❤
I actually neglected my weeks this year. I put some of the monthlies but kept forgetting to update it. I was gonna skip it this year but I bought another one anyway. Now I have some ideas to ponder for next year. Thanks Helen!
I can't tell you how happy I am to see this! I also managed to end up with a Hobo Weeks that I was intending to use as a health/wellness planner! You always inspire me, so this is completely cool!
I love seeing how you use your Weeks. My bullet journal is A5 dot grid and I have several other journals that are A5 dot grid. My next favourite is a Weeks type of journal but a blank one. I love this shape as it feels less formal than my A5's and it's always inspiring to see how other people set them up.
Helen! This was so on time. Thanks for sharing. I will be using a hobo weeks for my health and wellness journal as well and you gave me so many ideas! I love using the supplement for private journaling. I will definitely be using that. Thank you.
I’m so glad you posted this! I’m on a weightloss journey and just got my first hobonichi cousin and planned on using the yearly spread for my workouts. You also gave me a few other ideas that popped in my head while watching this too that’s specific to my own mental health and medications. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your honest self with us, i have purchased a TN to do this next year, your ideas in this have been inspiring, my notes/recharge section will be for symptoms, questions, follow ups i have to note for my doctor.. its difficult to capture these sometimes random questions and when your next appointment is, i may have forgotten it, then afterwards, go dang i shoulda asked.... the perfect spot to note them.. thank you for start point for when my notebook arrives 😊
I love this! I’m starting with a cousin this up coming year, I’m currently experimenting with an A6 and I was wondering how to track my running as I’m back to it after a two year hiatus for health reasons, this has given me tonnes of ideas, also I’ll use my freebie note book on a similar way to you thanks for putting yourself out there out helps at least me 😊 also I’m waiting for my orders with giddiness and excitement! I already bought the 2024 hobo colours tabs which I’m happy with but… 🥲 NEW ONES!!!!! Argh😅 might need two planners now 😂🎉
I just finished watching this for the 2nd time and you inspired me with a great idea: I want to use my 2025 weeks to track my fibromyalgia symptoms, and see if I can find out a pattern or a trigger for what makes them worse. Thanks a lot Helen!!
I love seeing your setup - it’s so tailored to your needs it’s clear that it will be functional for you (and adorable, of course!) I appreciate your vulnerability, and I also use a Weeks memo book as a dumping journal that *I* don’t even want to flip back through. 😅🤷🏻♀️ Thanks for sharing - and that sticker release hack is genius. 💛
I got a sterling ink n2 common planner (the weeks size) as my health planner too - both physical and mental health! I was thinking of doing the same thing for my monthly section, for the weekly, on the left side instead of tracking workouts, i will be tracking my meals. I’ll use the notes section for therapy stuff plus any raw thoughts and feelings. Thinking of getting that booklet as a supplement too!
Thanks Helen. I enjoyed watching your set up and your thoughts and ideas. I have been using my Weeks Mega as my health planner this year and plan to do the same next year. I took a couple notes pages and listed all my diagnosis, listed all my prescription meds on another couple, and my over the counter meds on a couple. I take this with me to all my appointments and if they need a list of my meds I just let them make a copy rather than me having to make a list in the office on the spot each time. You could also do that in the little booklet if you prefer. But I keep my weeks in a Moterm😮 cover which everyone thinks is a wallet.
Happy Cozy Planning Sunday! ❤ I get excited to set up my next year's planner, too. But I do it in December because I'm a holiday hater and need a distraction.
Thanks for sharing your ideas! I also plan on using a weeks as a health and fitness and running tracker! I deal with autoimmune issues so mine will serve me In a little different way but very similar to my set up! Love watching your thought process and ideas!
I use the Weeks as a physical and mental health journal. In the calendar section i use 2 different color mid-liners to track my period and also to note whenever I get migraines. In the yearly section I track my weight. In the monthly section I track my movement, so that’s where I record the # of steps I walk each day (at the top of the date box), and also if I did yoga, or strength training, or walked in the park. My weeklies are a food diary: on the left page I record breakfast, lunch and dinner, using the “extra” box (on the left side of the right-hand page) as a calorie tracker. On the rest of the right-hand page I set up simple weekly trackers for sleep, water consumption, my AM routine and my PM routine. At the bottom of that page I write down what book I’m reading (bc I’ve committed to reading at least 10 pages a day.) The Back pages: I set up a few of the back pages to track the dates of any dr appts and the dates I bought my meds. It’s easier to see it all on one page. A few more pages are set aside for healthy recipes I come across. (I’ll use a post-it as a quick grocery list that I stick over that recipe and then toss the post-it when I’m done. Permanent grocery lists in my Weeks are too messy for my brain. lol. The rest of the back pages I use as a gratitude journal (3 a day), and a manifesting journal (5 a day). I use the favorites section (there are 12 boxes) to remind myself to treat myself to one special activity each month. It could be a spa day, a Broadway show, coffee hour, anything. The 100 favorites section I use to jot down things I read/hear about that I might want to buy or further investigate: like new makeup, skincare, workout gear/clothes, the best electric toothbrush, books to read, etc. In the 365 day section I track JOY. Did I spend at least 1 hour every day doing something that brings me joy? I have a color code for each activity: playing the piano, needlepointing, learning a new language, coloring, etc. and use the corresponding midliner to fill in the circle. It’s very satisfying watching it fill up over the year. I love my weeks and I love using every section of it.
I've been using my weeks for health stuff & spending (my bad adhd habit!) for a few years. Absolutely love your set up! I think I'll be doing the 100 runs page too, such a great idea! I've been struggling with motivation when it comes to running, so hopefully this will help keep me on track! Thank you for sharing! Also good job setting boundries- not everything is for the internet!
Super duper helpful tips!! After 6 years of Hobonichi Cousin and Weeks I learned a lot from you. Thanks! And hey, we all get to have a secret space to dump our thoughts! 😁
Thanks for sharing Helen, now I want to get another Weeks solely for health/wellbeing - love this idea. One thing I came across recently was using one vertical square space on the right hand side of page of each week for a mood tracker with a simple hand drawn facial expression, for the entire day you could denote morning, noon evening. I’m going to incorporate that somewhere next year, although I’m not sure I’ve explained that terribly well.
Thank you for being so honest and considerate, you inspire and also let people that deal with mental health issues feel seen. I bought a weeks planner from Kinbor (since hobinichi is expensive for me rn) and I was planning on using it as my health planner. Thank you for sharing your set-up and giving me a little reassurance that i might be on the right track with my planner ideas.
Thank you so much for sharing all this! My spiritual health planner for 2024 is the Weeks Mega, and it's worked really well but I've not used as much space as I thought, so trying a regular Weeks for next year (alongside a Cousin as my main planner). Still working it all out but I can't wait to get it all set up once I have! Love the vinyls and I hope the nutrition one comes back into stock soon. Be well! 🧡
Absolutely love this setup. Not gonna lie, but I’m waiting to do a lot of my setups for after your Black Friday sale LOL Having boundaries is totally healthy and important. Share only what you feel comfortable with.
I really like the way you did the tracker for your meds. I think I would like to do something similar. Sometimes, I want more information than just a check mark - like I took it late or started a new med. Nice thinking, Helen!
I picked up this pattern in the Hon and The Weeks and it’s just beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing how you’re going to use your Weeks. It was so helpful and insightful. Have a great week ♥️😘
I love it so much Helen! I also have a health related planner! I am so excited to post all my planners. I am doing a 12 days of planmas in December and will show each planner/journal/notebook set up on those days!
It's time for Shay's random thoughts 1. I've been resisting buying a Weeks or A6 cousin. I have two planners I'm using for 2025, plus random notebooks I can use for anything the two planners miss. But they are all so pretty. *sigh* I will get through this....just breathe 2. Everyone has habits they are ashamed of or embarrassed by. I just wanted you to know that you aren't alone. Mine are obsessive compulsive. 3. I love your envelopes and I'm always sad I didn't buy more. Black Friday seems far away but it is next month!!! 4. Thank you for taking the time to create videos and interacting with your customers. I appreciate you. 5. I still need a Helen sticker. 😅 Much love to your and your family. ❤ ❤❤
Thank you, Helen for sharing. I am also using the same planner as a health planner next year. I took away some great ideas. Looking forward to the cousin set up.
Helen this set up is so wonderful! I used a Hon Techo this year but wasn’t using the daily pages and felt bad about that so I also am going back to a hobo weekly for 2025. I want to journal and maybe draw and watercolor in it as well because I love their paper for those activities. And I love using fountain pens in it as well. I may try the pencil dividing sections as well. You’re such an inspiration and have such wonderful products! ❤❤❤❤
I just got most of my stickers and weeks in the mail this week. Although I didn't really use any planners this year, I'm getting ready for next year. Sounds like you have a good plan on what you are going to do with your weeks. Best of luck! I hope it will be what you need it to be. Thank you for the ideas, and sharing all that you are comfortable with. I'm planning on rewatching your video about your ADHD planner, and might try it out in the weeks I have this year. I didn't realize I was doing some thing similar last year, and kind of did the same with a digital tool. But now, I just want to have something more tangible. I hope you have an awesome day!
Helen, you are always inspirational! I've been keeping up with my planner, but not my daily sketching and journaling (although I do mini journaling in my planner). I have a Weeks that I've abandoned and i'm going to see if I can use it for healh like you (I was using it for language learning, but I haven't had time for that either, LOL). Thank you always for being open and sharing both the fabulously done pages as well as your not-completely-filled pages. It makes me feel less guilty about not filling every page of my notebooks. :)
I purchased a B6 Horizontal common planner to use for health and wellness in 2025. I definitely found this useful and got some ideas for things to track in my planner! I don't run (my knees say no thanks) but I do have a peloton and a road bike! Thanks for sharing!
Love your video! Thank you for so many good ideas. I got a notebook to track multiple aspects of my health and immediately wish I had gotten a planner because I get overwhelmed with what and were and then comes the indecision paralysis. (Not officially diagnosed yet) With rapid changes in my anxiety and new health challenges I need something but was hesitant about getting a full on planner but didn’t think of a weeks. I love Hobonichi so I might be looking into one or something similar.
For a minute i thought the X was when you did the bad habit. 😅 good job on that! I like how you are using the monthly for doctors appt and memos/notes summarizing the month and reflections on it. My husband just got a new prescription that he needs to take each day and some for when he just has flair ups. I got him timer lids that fit on normal prescription bottles, itll tell you how long its been since you last opened it. Thats been helping him to see if he took any when he was supposed to.
Wonderful video, dear Helen. I had heard of this planner before, but was not familiar with it. Thank you for this in-depth look. I would have never thought it would be one I would use, because I don’t write as tiny as you, BUT I love the idea of using it as a tracker. There’s a couple things I’ve been toying with tracking, and I like the idea of having a separate book like this rather than in my ‘daily’ planner. Also, I love the stickers you previewed. LOVE THEM!! You are so talented and creative, and so amazingly smart!! Take care, lovely lady! Thanks for all the hard work you put into your beautiful creations for us. 😁👍🏻❤️🌹
I am also thinking to use my weeks as a health & fitness planner/meal planner so this video was super helpful ! I can't wait for those die cuts you are releasing they are perfect
I''m using a weeks a very similar manner. With my ADHD, having a dedicated planner to keep near my rower and workout equipment will help keep that compartmentalized. If my planer has too much going on I won't use it. LOL
this time of the year and setting up planners is also my favourite!! and seeing your weeks that you are using alongside your cousin is dangerously tempting me to get a weeks too 👀 they are just too cute!!!
Thank you so much to show us everything, including how you want the monthly pages! I want start a health planner for 2025 too and you gave me so much inspiration. My mental health is really bad and I need to look more to everything! I hope it‘s ok to use some of your ideas… big hug 🫂
What a great idea to have one planner just for health. No doubt it will be easier to track health related things, such as when you started a new med, its effects, etc. That nutrition label on the back is perfect!
I had to open up my Weeks to see those two dots you mentioned they have, and I was like, "Huh. Didn't see those.." so that does give me a certain idea of how to use the Weeks next year, since I do use it for my blood sugar numbers and what I have to do that day. Thanks for the ideas and your Weeks is very beautiful!
Helen, I was diagnosed with adhd primarily inattentive type at 42 years old. It was cathartic but difficult thinking about what could have been, if I was diagnosed earlier. Thank you so much for this kind & encouraging comment!!! I’m cheering for you Andrea 🫂💕
This this this this THIS!!!
What a lovely comment 🥰
As a fellow adult diagnosed ADHD 😅, I have realized that a planner is an accessibility aid for me. I need a big chunky planner with all my lists, a detailed schedule, goals, tasks, reminders, etc etc. LOVE your tracking idea for specific symptoms and notes about treatment. I'm inspired.
I'm glad you found some inspiration here!!!
Yep. It looks excessive to some but my chaotic system really helps me 😅😅
Wow, I’ve always found it so difficult to articulate why my journals and planners are so important to me as a neurodivergent person. But of course, it’s an accessibility aid!

Aww I love this so much!! Focusing on the positive is a great thing!
Hi Helen. I appreciate your opening up on certain topics, but really applaud you setting boundaries. Good for you. On another note I LOVE that fitness vinyl-you have given me a lot of ideas for a fitness journal. Thank you.
Hiii!! Thank you so much Renee 😁💕
And yay I’m glad you found some inspiration here!
OMG the sticker paper in the back is GENIUS!!! TYSM for that, she says as she runs to her desk to immediately do this in all her books 😅
Hehehe go go go! Glad you like the idea~
Thank you for sharing so much vulnerability with us, Helen. You gave me some great ideas for my med tracking as well as “bad habits”. I also love the idea of the private journal.
Thank you Sharon 🫂💕 I’m happy to hear you found some inspiration here!
Haha yeah 😭 I hope it works for you this year!!
And thank you Celia 🫂
I am sending you so much love. I am 32 and was diagnosed ADHD and OCD this year. It has been a ride. You are not alone dear friend and I commend you for being open and also pushing through your anxiety and shame around the feelings of your medication and habits here. I think you are helping others. BUT don't feel bad for NOT sharing things either. Don't feel bad if you decide to keep things to yourself
Thank you so much for your kind comment Dianna! I'm cheering you on
OMG! I love your journalling videos! I am going to make my college notes like this . This is so inspiring 😊
Yay I’m glad you found some inspiration!!
Thank you so much!!! I'm glad you got some good ideas from it ^__^
That's great that you are being so open. As a fellow ADHDer, I understand the struggle. For your medication, you might want to invest in a pill box. Therefore you won't accidentally take two doses. If the section in the pill. box is empty, then you have already taken that dose. You are doing amazingly!
Thank you so much Cathy!! I actually had one but I lot it, with meds inside LOL. I am hopeless sometimes hahaha. Thank you again!!
I love that you’re being so open about this, but still respecting your need to be private about things. I love that you recognise that there are shameful and awful feelings about some things and I think even just saying that really gets the conversation started, how shame plays such a huge part of mental health issues. Also, your planner looks amazing and I hope it works really well for you ❤
Thank you so much Amy!! I appreciate you 🫂🫂
Helen, I appreciate your openness and respect your boundaries about what you don't want to share. I love that you are taking care of yourself that way. I love the look of your 2023 Weeks, though it ultimately didn't work for you. You have a great style, whatever planner you use. I use the Weeks as my main planner so I enjoyed seeing how you plan to use it for 2025.
Ahh thank you so much Sandra!!! This is so kind 🥰 I will keep you all updated!
Ohhhh yes yes maybe I’ll incorporate some spending stuff in mine too hmmm. Great idea!
Aww that must be so nice to finally have an answer! Proud of you
I needed this video today. Not only did it provide a great idea of a workout planner. 🎉 It provided a discussion with personal boundaries. 🧡
🥰🥰🥰 Wishing you a great week!
Listening to you instantly calms me. Thank you!
aw thank you Hayley!!
The same thing happened to me with hobo weeks. Every year I buy one and never finish it.
Excellent video and as always very inspiring ❤
Thank you Nessy!!! I’m glad I’m not alone 😭
I think people have forgotten that their whole lives don't need to be documented on the internet and it is indeed ok and even proper/expected to have the need for privacy over your personal lives.
Amazing idea for stickers on the go! I truly enjoy your videos. Thank you for your contribution to the planner community ❤
Thank you so much Tiwanda!! This made me smile
I am cheering you on Janean 🥹 You are such a strong person!! I hope 2025 is a great year for you in all aspects
Thank you so much for your support Jana ❤ Cheering for you!!
Every sunday i get so excited to watch your videos. You're the only channel I have notifications on for. And this upload is extra special, because your planner setup videos are my favorite videos of the year!! Much love
Omg this means so much! Thank you lovely
Hahaha I'm glad you got a laugh ^_^ Thank youuuu so much and I love that notion!!
Happy TCMC day, i mean Sunday. Always look forward to seeing your vids. Excited for the A5 most of all. Thank you ❤
How did you know I needed this video in my life? lol!
I had a tingling feeling ✨
This comment made me smile 🥹💕 Thank you so much!!!!
@TheCoffeeMonsterzCo Oh, I'm so glad! Happy to share the joy 🥰
Thank you for all you do and please keep up the great work❤❤. .
Ahhh thank you so much Vanessa 🥹🥹🥹 Sending you love! I hope you find a system that works for you!!
Thank you❤
Aww yay I'm glad you got some ideas here! It's suchhh a pretty cover 😄
I wanted to do a separate journal for my health stuff, but didn't want a full planner, so I got the SI N1 horizontal booklet set. I'll see how it works out this coming year.
I’m so excited you did this. I am using my sterling ink b6slim for health
I love this suggestion!!! You are right that mindset & perspective is very influential!
Thank you! I'm using the Weeks as an analog companion to my digital-forward work planning. I was planning to use the annual index to track days I'm in office vs. remote and number of hours worked. I had no idea what to do with the top portion. LOVE the idea of a total & avg by month, so I'll be doing that next year!
Ooo I love that tracker idea! And yay I’m glad this helped a bit 😁💕
This is SO good!
Thank you Jacque!!
I was diagnosed 2 years ago at age 54… I didn’t know it could be ADHD. Your videos are helping me keep better track of what I need to get done, so I don’t stress as much. ❤ very relaxing videos 🌻
🫂🫂 Cheering you on Janet!!
Um that sticker release hack is EVERYTHING. thank you for that!!!
Hehe my pleasureee!!
Helen thank you for being willing to share YOU with us. I’m so happy you have found a place to also keep your most personal inner thoughts safe. I love that idea as and although I don’t share on social media I don’t always want an option for others (co-workers, friends, family) to see all my thoughts.
Ahh thank you so mcuh Cinnamon!!! 🥹🥹
Hi Helen! I 💜 your weeks setup. I also have struggled with the weeks but want to make it work. I chose the A5 HON this year, but now I'm reconsidering 😂
Thanks again for talking about your ADHD. It helps me 😊 It makes me realize i do the same things or think the same way & maybe I'm not so weird.
Happy Sunday!
Thank you so much Heather!!! Hahaha oh nooo I hope you still love the HON!
@TheCoffeeMonsterzCo I do! I'm just adding on 😆
I love the idea with the trees for outdoor run! So creative. Thank you, Helen.
You are so welcome!!! Good luck~
Thank you so much Amanda!!! I love the Paddington bear cover 🥹
I love that you are so ambitious and trying to make the Hobonichi Weeks work! I think that making the Hobonichi Week specifically for mental health and fitness is perfect! I'll be following you on this journey ❤
Thank you!!!! I will keep everyone updated 😁💕
Thank you for sharing all
These ideas Helen I will be using my weeks as well for my wellness 🙋🏻♀️
So many good ideas THANK YOU
You are so welcome!!! And thank you 💕💕
I love this.
Love you!!!
Ahhh thank you so so much 🥹🥹🥹 I am obsessed with the envelope!!
Also, the upcoming stickers are very very cute!
This video was so helpful! Thank you so much! I’ve been struggling with the weeks as well and use mine for health/fitness too! Thank you for sharing! ❤
Yay I’m glad!!! Good luck with your setup 💕
Aww thank you so so much!!
Thank you.
Thank you for watching Christa!! I'm so glad you found some ideas here
I’m so glad you posted this! I’m on a weightloss journey and just got my first hobonichi cousin and planned on using the yearly spread for my workouts. You also gave me a few other ideas that popped in my head while watching this too that’s specific to my own mental health and medications. Thank you!
I'm cheering you on!!! I'm so happy to hear you got some bits of inspo ^_^
My pleasure Pamela!! I'm glad you were able to take something away from this!! Good luck~
Argh😅 might need two planners now 😂🎉
I love Dr Potato 😍 I struggle with ADHD, depression, and anxiety and you’re not alone ❤ I understand it’s difficult to talk about it
🫂🫂🫂
Hiii hehe thanks again Ellie!!! Thank you for listening 🫂
That sounds gooood!!! I hope it works out for you!!
Thank you so much Kati!! I love your suggestions!!!
Happy Cozy Planning Sunday! ❤ I get excited to set up my next year's planner, too. But I do it in December because I'm a holiday hater and need a distraction.
Happy happy Sunday!!!
Thank you so much!! Good luck to you
Super duper helpful tips!! After 6 years of Hobonichi Cousin and Weeks I learned a lot from you. Thanks! And hey, we all get to have a secret space to dump our thoughts! 😁
Aw yay this means so much! Thank you Jane 🫂🫂
Love this , especially the tip about using A washi card and tucking it intothat front pocket!❤
Thank you Denise!! Super handy~
I love this idea!!! Thank you for sharing as well!
🫂🫂🫂 Thank you for listening!! I'm glad you found some ideas here
Thank you so much for sharing all this!
Thank you Emily!! I'm glad it was helpful ^__^
I’m using my Hobo weeks as a health and fitness planner next year too! Twins! 👯♀️
high five~
I picked up this pattern in the Hon and The Weeks and it’s just beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing how you’re going to use your Weeks. It was so helpful and insightful. Have a great week ♥️😘
It really is!! I hope you have a great week Charissa!!!
I love it so much Helen! I also have a health related planner! I am so excited to post all my planners. I am doing a 12 days of planmas in December and will show each planner/journal/notebook set up on those days!
Ahh thank you so much!! And that's a fun idea~~
It's time for Shay's random thoughts
1. I've been resisting buying a
Weeks or A6 cousin. I have two
planners I'm using for 2025,
plus random notebooks I can
use for anything the two
planners miss. But they are all
so pretty. *sigh* I will get
through this....just breathe
2. Everyone has habits they are
ashamed of or embarrassed by.
I just wanted you to know that
you aren't alone. Mine are
obsessive compulsive.
3. I love your envelopes and I'm
always sad I didn't buy more.
Black Friday seems far away
but it is next month!!!
4. Thank you for taking the time to
create videos and interacting
with your customers. I
appreciate you.
5. I still need a Helen sticker. 😅
Much love to your and your family. ❤ ❤❤
You make me smile 🫂 Thank you for listening to my rambles and for your comments!!!
Hehehe I will have plenty of envelopes ready fory ou!!
Thank you, Helen for sharing. I am also using the same planner as a health planner next year. I took away some great ideas. Looking forward to the cousin set up.
I'm happy that you found some inspiration here!!
I love your chosen Weeks planner for 2025! 😍😍😍
Hehe thank youuu! It's such a fun cover~
Ahh I hope you find your planning groove again!!! Thank you so much and I hope you have a great week as well!!
Ahh thank you so much Yukari!! We all go through ups and downs
I purchased a B6 Horizontal common planner to use for health and wellness in 2025. I definitely found this useful and got some ideas for things to track in my planner! I don't run (my knees say no thanks) but I do have a peloton and a road bike! Thanks for sharing!
Oooo I hope it works out for you!!!
you can use the allistair method on the right side and put all your to-dos there and track them over the course of a week.
i was so looking forward to this! cant wait to see the cousin set up!!
Hehehe enjoyyy!!! I’m excited to finish my setup 🤭🩷
Thank you so much Anggie!! I really hope you can find a system that works for you!
Haha thank you so much!! And wow that sounds like something I need--thanks for sharing!
Helen.. that sticker pouch 👀👀👀👀 I'm so excited! I have all the sizes you've done and use them constantly
Hehehe I love ittt! Thank you Shelby!!!
My pleaasure Michelle! I'm happy this was somewhat helpful ^_^ Wishing you a great week!
Hope you will be restocking the A6 and B6 folders. I added them to the cart on the 19th but it was sold out when I tried to check out. 😢
I am also thinking to use my weeks as a health & fitness planner/meal planner so this video was super helpful ! I can't wait for those die cuts you are releasing they are perfect
Yayyy I’m glad!! Thank you Elizabeth 💕💕
You always have the BEST ideas.... how do you do it Helen? 🥰
Stahppp! Hehe thank you Abi ❤
Ahh thank you so much!! Right?? I love the cover and size so much!!
@@TheCoffeeMonsterzCo i caved and i bought one 🫣
Thank you so much to show us everything, including how you want the monthly pages! I want start a health planner for 2025 too and you gave me so much inspiration. My mental health is really bad and I need to look more to everything! I hope it‘s ok to use some of your ideas… big hug 🫂
Sending you my love today!!!
What a great idea to have one planner just for health. No doubt it will be easier to track health related things, such as when you started a new med, its effects, etc. That nutrition label on the back is perfect!
Thank you Sherry!! Yep yep I'm excited to see how this goes~
Hehe now you know!! I hope the hobonichi weeks work for you!!
