I used to take 20-30 norcos(hydrocodone) a day or if I could get my hands on the 30mg blue oxys I’d take 4 at a time or 8-10 a day. My withdrawal was brutal for sure and I trained at the gym through it but I never had any vomiting. The insomnia, aches, runny nose, cold sweats, depression, and diarrhea is no joke. I grew up in Gardena, CA so I understand what these brothers are speaking bout and have grown a lot from therapy. After a Xanax addiction and lean addiction & almost dying, I had to change my life. & a close friend recommended therapy a few years back & it’s been the best thing I’ve ever done. Never touched hardcore drugs since and barely drink alcohol. I wish anyone reading this the best & peace of mind.

I stopped cold turkey thinking nothing of it when I moved back home at the end of the summer.. Bad idea. Immediately I got the 'restless leg'. I would wake up 2hrs into my sleep, couldn't stay asleep through the night, would wake up in cold sweats, and have the irresistible urge to move my legs to a comfortable position. This goes on all night before you know it the sun is up and you've only gotten 3 scattered hours of sleep. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Had I known the affects of not having any I would have never taken one to begin with.

The best way I've ever heard to explain it was this: I had a friend who had 2 children with ZERO pain relief/comfort drugs/nothing at all.... This was after being clean for many years. She said having a child was NOTHING compared to kicking dope. Don't touch opiates. I wish I never did.
