The von Krolock's must be a real vampire dynasty ;-) You can see so many epochs in this dance: medieval, early modern, renaissence, Tudor period, early baroque, high baroque, rococo, Louis-Seize style, empire style.... Since the plot of the "current clothes of the main characters" takes place around 1840/50, the "Empire vampires" are probably the "freshest deceased" ;-) Very nicely implemented is also the decay of the clothes of the vampires over all the "lying time" in their graves.
She wasn't still a great actress to me,but that role suited her even if character about stunning looking, naive and sweet sarah shoud had been an eastern european beauty. And not 🏴-german-french
Well, if Dr. van Helsing could do it with two candlesticks in "Horror of Dracula," Professor Abronsius could do it with two swords. If you have a room full of parched vampires suddenly discovering you are lunch, you use whatever is handy.
A scene that's been borrowed for so many "vampire" films since. Ever notice how vampire lore changes from film to film (like zombies?) This time a sign of the cross stops them...next film they're snatching a cross out someone's hands and rubbing it on their face while laughing etc.
Mister spolanskij could manage actors in the sixtys and early seventys....and it would had been for fab looking and natural blonde sharon polanskij a chance to becomig suddenly successfull
Who designed gorgeous red costume who missis sharon polanskij wore?and copper wig showed up even more her espressive and remarkable french-scottish-swiss beauty😊
Sharon Tate, what a goddess she was. Bless her soul. ❤️
I can’t imagine how many times they had to film this. Everything had to be in sync between the choreography, the dialogue, all of it.
If I had to guess I’d say they got it on the first take.
My parents use to love this movie, we use to watch it the weekends before Halloween every year when I was little 🤣🤣🤣
Yes mine too I remember it. I thought it funny thing true classics never die
@@americaneaglescout1057 yes!!! 👊🏾 salute 💯

This whole movie has that level of care and attention. Every frame is filled with beautiful little details like that.
So much detail it’s insane
Totalmente de acuerdo contigo!
Another thing to wonder about is how Count von Krolock, a nineteenth century vampire, became their leader.
I wonder how old that would make them though like 800 or so years?
My goodness was Sharon Tate beautiful! Absolutely stunning...
