I’m African American but my DNA tells me I am Nigerian but doesn’t give a specific ethnic group in Nigeria. I want to learn more about all Nigerian culture so I can connect
Thank you for taking us back to the history, it is a lovely tour and I think I learnt a lot and even more enlightened about yoruba history. We need to see more of yoruba history and culture on your channels.

Patootie, this was such a wonderful video - thank you. Your editing was brilliant and I loved when you told the story of Moremi, for some reason it sounded familiar but I'm not sure where I would have heard it (raised and live in the UK). Great video, once again, it's lovely to know that I can learn more about my Yoruba history through great content creators like you.
Can you do a video on what's happening in Ibadan now with Yoruba v Hausa/Fulani. I hear there was trouble today.
that Akara looks good
Wow 🥺💃
How did u spend 2 hours ? It's not that far
Thanks for the story and the video. Didn’t they have museum in the palace where all African artefact are kept?

Incrível!
Can you confirm if the Ga tribe of Ghana actually came from ile efe in Nigeria?
Yes the king of ga came to Ife last week during aje festival, ga compound is still located till today

BABE UR VIDEOS ARE REALLY POPPING AT THE MOMENT KEEP IT UP ... ITS ONLY THAT NAME POTATO SPARKLE THAT I DONT GET
Where do you leave Obatala, if you say Oduduwa is the father of Yoruba people?
Great video Patootie🤭🤭🙂
OYINDAMOLA (ORGANISE HISTORIC TOUR TO IFE FOR YOUR OLD SCHOOL PEOPLE AT ELEMENTARY SS 1 AND 2 THEY WILL APPRECIATE IT.
This is called 'kra- burger'.
❤👌
Have those loaves of bread and bottled waters passed any quality checks? Haha
Ile-ife is littered and dirty, Ooni should do something about it.
Are you ok? What of the governor of Osun state? Is that not his job? Why should you think the Ooni of ife should be the one to do something about it?
@@efemzyekun900 I'm very okay😁 . Making sure a citity or town looks good is not only in the hands of the governor , who is not competent anyway given what is happening in the state. Individuals headed by Ooni can share in this responsibility , Ile-ife attracts tourists from all over the world and should be kept clean.
@@stardaniel8190 whilst I agree that the government of Osun of today is grossly incompetent, the Ooni cannot be singled out to be responsible for ensuring that government carry out the tasks for which they were voted for.
Unfortunately, the colonial legacies have ensured that absolute powers are taken away from our paramount traditional rulers, hence, the highly regarded Ooni is now placed under the governor and there is a limit to what he can order the governor to do. What if he has been drawing the attention of government to this maladies, only for such calls to be ignored. Let's leave our Ooni out of this politics jare.
Nice beautiful
Firsstttttt
The last statue is not sango but Oranfe; the first natural ruler of Ife. Moremi fought Oduduwa segment of Yoruba, not the entire Yoruba.
The ugbo are not the people of the forest but an abbrevation of UGBOMOKUN/UGBOMEKUN- The highest sacred order of the Oro cult. Ile-Ugbo is where they called ile-ase in Ife palace till dates. The emese in Ife needs to start telling tourist the truth about Yoruba. Oduduwa is not the father of Yoruba.
You have to trace the Obas history from Benin Kingdom.
Trace the Oba of Benin Kingdom of whay, you so call Yoruba people will not stay out of Benin issue if you don't know the origin of Oduduwa
Try some “Isley Brothers tunnes” for beautiful road journeys, you get superior guitar strumming from songs like “harvest for the world”, summer breeze etc, enjoying your various hairstyles and headware. The Ooni need to grow his beard as an Israelite, let the message go out 😁👩🏽🦱
Not all Yoruba are from ile ife madam
Patootie 😘
Yoruba should stop misleading d public tell the world who is the father of oduduwa stop saying oba of benin, we believe here oduduwa is our son here in benin d son of ogiso owodo that was banished from igodomegodo and run to ife how can you talk about oduduwa without his father
Can you benin people please stfu and stop trying to seek attention from yoruba people, you are irrelevant to us with ur small population looking for attention
Thank you for taking me to Ile-Ife and thank you for teaching me of the history of Ile-Ife.
