I have heard so many good things about canva but was not sure how to start… it looks quite easy! Thanks for showing us! I will def use it for my jewellery business :)
Hi, I watched this video about a week or two ago and found it extremely helpful and easy to follow. I am a young teen looking to create a small business, but I am not quite sure how. Ever since I started thinking about how I wanted to represent my business and small details like that, I knew exactly what I wanted my logo to be. I just tried to use Canva to create the vision I had for my logo, but I couldn't quite figure out how to do it. Basically what I want is a blue circle with a pixelated, simple panda inside. I will add my business name and other small details in and around it, but that is the basic idea. I was wondering if you knew how to do this on Canva. It is totally okay if not. Or, another option might be if I can manage to draw what I want, if you know how to scan it and process it, as I want to make stickers and possibly customized notecards with my logo, to use for packaging. Thankyou for taking the time to read this comment, and thankyou in advance for your help. Since discovering this channel recently, I have watched most of your videos and found them very helpful and inspiring. I hope you have a lovely day.
Hi, I'm so glad you are enjoying the videos! And congratulations on taking initiative with your small business idea. Are you in the jewellery field? With regards to your question about the logo. I think you might be best off creating a digital drawing of your panda on Pro-create on an iPad if you have one. Then uploading this to Canva and making sure it has the background removed (you can do this with Canva Pro). Or you could see if you can find a pixilated Panda online and then upload it and remove the background and then edit it as you like by adding the other elements. (Make sure you choose an image that is not copyrighted) Hope that helps. ;) Good luck and have fun! Megan
@@megan.collins Thank you very much! I am wanting to make a variety of things for my business, including perler bead decorations/coasters, prints of my original artwork, and possibly bead jewellery. So I am not completely in the jewellery field. Thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment. I will try to use this advice, but just in case it doesnt work for me (i can only try one option since i dont have an ipad), is there another option? Sorry to make a fuss.
Thanks so much for sharing about canva! I've been wanting to jump into this program and this was exactly what I needed! Wonderful video just enough of what I needed!! 🤗 💙
@@megan.collins I know someone who uses it to print out the artwork for her planner. I think the only limitation of this program might be ones creativity. 😁
Oh trust me the options are limitless. Your creativity is all that stops you. I LOVE it!! But for those who still struggle to design their own logo, next weeks video will be just what they need!!
Hiya Megan, Nice video, very helpful, thank you. I have a problem though, I've no idea for a logo. I'm an engineer, not an artist so what can I use for my brand of, 'Image Jewellery'. Tea? What is wrong with coffee may I ask? Stay safe, Steve...
Oh Steve! I have a very exciting video in the works for next Sunday answering that exact problem! Also, Tea rocks! But all jokes aside, I can't drink coffee it makes me shake like a leaf and that's not ideal when I m trying to solder tiny pieces! haha. Hope you are having a wonderful week!
I hope you all found this little tutorial helpfull! if you want to give Canva I highly recomended it: partner.canva.com/9Wd6OY
Canva is the best! I use it for so many things. Not just logos. I use to create posts and stories, flyers, brochures, cards and more.
It really is amazing isn't it!! I use it for literally anything design related! Still to this day one of the best things I have found! 🤗
Love the brand kit feature !
I know right!! I don't know how I lived without it before 😅
