Thank you, many people are also intrigued by the cross shape. The first recess is to hide the wire, the second perpendicular is to pass the tool to cut the wire when repotting.
Beautiful Art work! Thank you so much Greg!, gave up pottery for years, but did make some beginner bonsai pots☺️maybe with your inspiration, I will pick this beautiful art work again🇨🇦👍
I want that pot! Lol I made some bonsai pots took a class in 2012, teacher knew nothing about bonsai pots and I knew little but it was so fun and now I want to again, thanks for the inspiration.
Brilliant work, am just starting making pots and love this...thank you for taking the time to make the film...what is the name of the black comb tool you use to help trim the inside edge of the rim? From about 9.15? Thanks 👍
If you have ideas for pots that could be interesting to film, share your ideas. Or let me know if there's a technique or something in particular you'd like to see, sometimes I'm at a loss for ideas!
I would like to try this. I'm sure I'll create some ugly ducklings at first. I suppose I'd have to find a place to fire it..great video, you have great skill..
Start with small pots, without skipping steps. For firing, there are often potters, equipment suppliers, or pottery clubs who rent their kilns. You have to look at the classified ads. ;)

I took my first ceramics class last night. Now I have something to aspire to.
Stunning!
Really like the idea of the sunken wiring holes. A real touch of class.
Thank you, many people are also intrigued by the cross shape. The first recess is to hide the wire, the second perpendicular is to pass the tool to cut the wire when repotting.
Beautiful just watching this. I would love my Bonsai trees in such a pot.
Thank you 😊

Wow beautiful work. What glaze have you used please?
The finished pot 👉 www.greg-ceramics.com/?page=item&id=MzQ0Ng%3D%3D
It's a homemade recipe, all my glazes are made by myself.
Excelente trabajo. Favor publicar luego de salir del horno. Gracias
Amazing job
What did you have inside the pot when you turned it over to put in the drain holes and feet? Great video ~ subscribed!!
Thank you. Most often I put a board with pieces of clay. You can see it in this video for example: th-cam.com/video/6XY23Vnzn7o/w-d-xo.html
Toujours un grand plaisir à regarder vos vidéos. Merci.

YapluK !
Wow good technique, really impressed my friend
what do you use under the pot as you cut the drainage holes? I'd love to attempt a pot this size.
a sheet of foam
Gracias Maestro...!!!
What is supporting the pot when you cut the drainage holes? Such a beautiful pot!!
what you want, a piece of cardboard, a plank of wood, it doesn't really matter...
I put something flat that I have on hand...
@@Greg-ceramics Thank you. I'm just so afraid of the piece sagging! I will definitely try to make one of these.
Awesome....love it ❤️❤️
Magnifique vidéo, ça donne envie de s' y essayer. Merci
Hi

What do you think about korean succulent pots? The are very little but perfect for succulents. 🙂
m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61emWbeztkL._SX679_.jpg
I don't know, I don't know anything about succulents
@@Greg-ceramics They thrive in terra cotta. I came across your video because I wanted my class to try and custom make their own pots for succulents.
Have you done any kintsugi videos?
lindo parabens
What are the tiny little holes within the clay, did you tenderize it before sculpting?
it's the canvas of my slab roller that marks the clay.
Sensacional, meus parabéns!
What is the material you used to make it ? What is needed after you shape it ? Like heating it or something else .😊
clay (stoneware), it's fired in a kiln at 1240°C
Can I do this without a kiln? In an oven perhaps
no, it's fired at +1200°C. In an oven you can just dry it, not fire it.
Whats the name of the black tool you use on the edge on the pot, to cut the lip ?
Thank you for sharing brother!
it's a self-made tool ;)
@@Greg-ceramics how did u make it sir?
How thick do you roll the slab for this project please? Tia
usually for all my pot I roll at 8-10 mm
@@Greg-ceramics thank you 🌝
